While relaxation and pampering are nice, I prefer to do therapy that addresses my pain and provide relief. When given the option this evening, I chose the constructive painful path and have NEVER been more grateful for the work and time Nicole put in! After over 200 massages at least, this is the best one I've ever had and she provided coaching on daily stretches customized to my challenges. Had no idea I had 3 ribs out of alignment, 3 vertebrae also and collarbone out on both sides and she fixed all of it!She's also a post-operative specialist and shared insight and guidance no other Dr or massage/pt therapist ever has. I have 3 titanium discs in my cervical spine from a ski crash that I waited to treat until two years ago and she told me things about my injury just by feel. She asked me my preference of music, and away we went. The bed was warm, which was really nice, since it was like 30 outside. She started on my back, with a very light touch. I thought it was going to be THAT kind of massage, but no, she was just getting ME ready. I am a hairstylist. I work on my feet, with my arms up. I get tight EVERYWHERE. No matter, I am no match for the mighty Edith. She was amazing. She worked out knots I didn't know I had. I'm sore in spots, but I can MOVE. It is quite possibly the best massage I've had. Masseuse Amy asked that I give her a chance to earn my trust. From the start Amy has worked with me to determine proper levels of attention to chronic back pains and muscle tension. She listens and applies the attention and techniques I require at each visit. And I add the therapist are polite and give a warm welcome. My only concern is they're a small spa and when busy the masseuse are required to check walk ins and answer the phone. But overall Silk Touch & Amy specifically are hidden gems.

I have never had any massage that touched me between my legs until this, and I laid there in shock and completely tense waiting for that part to be over. I was gaslighting myself into thinking it was ok but i feel completely violated and disgusted. Once the leg part happened, I could not relax and couldn't wait to get out of there. Also, I was still wearing underwear, so clearly I am modest and didn't want any funny business. If you want a professional massage that doesn't traumatize you, look elsewhere.
