At this point I had never had acupuncture and knew nothing about it. After calling a good 5-10 places I finally stumbled across Patrica at Acuheart. I knew right away when I heard her voice and she started explaining acupuncture in a way that comforted me and immediately showed her passion & wisdom our first time speaking. I have been coming to see Patricia since October and have become more aware of my body than I ever have before in my 27 years of living. I originally came because I have a pinched nerve in my left foot, broke my ribs a year ago, and have bursitis in my left hip from a car accident I was in 6 years ago. Patricia has been the first person in all 6 years of trying to heal my body who has actually wanted to help me find a solution and a cure for my body. I love this woman from the bottom of my heart, and thank god for bringing her into my life. This woman is amazing !!!! Thank You For Everything You Do For Me Patricia Courtney

I knew deep inside something was wrong and my body never stopped reminding me... I just needed someone who would sit down long enough to listen! I walked away from Western medicine and decided to try something new - that's when I found Patricia. Patricia filled me with hope, empowered me to put myself and my health first, and has given me the will and desire to be the healthiest, happiest me I can be! Patricia is so amazing and sweet, it's impossible to not love her! She is very gentle, kind, compassionate, and is so incredibly intelligent and experienced. I couldn't be more grateful to have someone so wonderful in my life. I honestly don't know where I would be without her! When I came to Patricia a few months ago, my energy levels were so incredibly low... I was showing positive for multiple autoimmune disorders, suffering from migraines, chronic fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, depression, adrenal issues, poor gut health, excessive hair loss, and honestly, the list goes on and on!! (I am only 24 years old). Today, I feel like a new person! I have more energy than I ever could have imagined having. No longer do I suffer from inflamed painful swollen joints... I can't remember the last time I had a migraine. I never thought I'd be a morning person, especially without coffee but I actually have been coffee free for a month now, waking up early without issues! Each month my health improves more and more! Honestly, Patricia has blessed my life and I am so fortunate and grateful to have such an amazing person who truly cares looking after me!! Each of my experiences have been great and I love Eastern medicine but when I came to SD, I felt a bit nervous about who I would I get. Seriously, Dr. Sebaa blew everyone out of the water! I'm amazed by her depth of knowledge and intuition. It's so clear that she's gone above and beyond when it comes to learning about not just Chinese medicine but so many other natural medicine disciplines. She's always up to date on the research and she ties it all into ancient medicine. She was even able to help my MD figure out what was going on with my body. After she suggested a few lab tests, I was able to get a diagnosis and now my MD can help me better too. It's no wonder her schedule is booked. She even stopped taking new patients for a while because she wanted to deeply focus on the ladies she is treating. Dr. Sebaa has a heart of gold. She really truly cares and you'll feel it. She's worth every bit and more. I feel like angels sent me to her and when I think about my health before I saw her and how I am now, I tear up with joy. We worked on things slowly and my pain started to lessen, my excess puffy weight shed off, my skin started to glow and I rarely ever wear makeup anymore (and that's coming from a full glam kinda gal). My mind feels more clear and I rarely feel the anxiety I used to even from things that used to trigger me before. Anyway, this can get really long. I can go on and on. If you're lucky enough to get on her books, you've hit jackpot.

As a patient, I feel Shelly truly cares about my well being and healing process along with everyone I have seen her work with. She takes a unique, individualized, and fresh approach with each of my personal ailments. What is amazing about her treatments is that they are supported by evidence-based practice. Shelly is unique because her Eastern-Western approach to medicine ensures that her patients receive the best care. A great example is when she breaks down a patient's Western lab results to determine an imbalance (whether it be hormonal, nutritional, etc.). By using specific evidence-based Acupuncture points and herbs, she corrects the problem, retested the labs, and brings down the out of range levels. Shelly is a very warm person, which makes it very easy to talk with her about your health.
