    Due to the winter storm and piles of snows, I looked for a florist in the same town as my Friend. It was a very significant and personal anniversary and I chose Ruth's Roses because it indicated same day delivery and website show cased beautiful floral arrangements. I placed order on 1/28 for delivery on 1/29. When I placed order- delivery was "free" but there was a service charge $18 and change. 1/29 I was leaving work- no text or email that the flowers delivery was made. So I emailed and called. On the phone, I was told "Due to an unforeseen supply issue" flowers would be delivered tomorrow 1/30. So I asked since your website says same day delivery and you are not delivering on the day requested- can you remove the service fee. I was told no. 1/30 around 430p, l left work- no email or text that flowers were delivered. I sent email and called. Told my order was being worked on!! Later on got email, flowers were delivered at 6:31pm. Really disappointed the floral arrangement on line that I ordered-- WAS NOT what my friend received! Would not recommend. Read website that this florist is family owned and it was another reason why I placed the order. I like to support local businesses- But you have to deliver as you advertise! Wouldn't recommend- sorry :(

    Absolutely horrible. Horrible customer service. Horrible communication. Do not go to this business This business was promoting same-day delivery for local Oxnard deliveries. I called prior to ordering to confirm if this was accurate and they said yes. I ordered my flowers Monday and expected my flowers to arrive on Monday. I received an order confirmation and that's all I receive. I did not receive a tracking number. I did not receive a photo of the flowers. I did not receive a delivery confirmation. For the next 24 hours I received nothing. I called the following day around 2:00 p.m. asking where my flowers were, and they said my order is under investigation. So I wanted to cancel my order because it was late. They said they could not cancel my order because it's "under investigation" They delivered the flowers Tuesday late afternoon, but didn't tell me until Wednesday. The lack of communication was extremely frustrating. Just because they made the delivery does not mean the order was correct. I needed those flowers to be there at a very specific time because this is a sympathy bouquet. When I called the store, they were completely unsympathetic, unapologetic, and unaccommodating. It seemed like they intentionally delivered the order late so they can't process the refund. It's really unprofessional.

    I ordered flowers for my daughter for Mothers Day. The picture on the website was beautiful. Tall vase, long stem flowers. What was delivered was a chopped off bouquet stuffed into a very short container. The arrangement was not even close to what I ordered. I called to complain and was given an email address for service@ruthsroses.com. I recieved an email back saying they reserved the right to "substitute" flowers. This was not a substitution. This was nothing more than a scam. Do not order from here. I don't believe it is a legitimat3e business.

    Beware! if I could give zero stars I would! I feel like this business scammed me! I ordered two large baskets for a funeral and only one was delivered! They offer no refund delivery or recourse of any kind because the documented that the flowers were delivered. I believe they delivered one basket, but never delivered the largest one . What was done with that basket? I have no idea, but they have zero customer service and refused to help me! Who on earth calls a grieving family 48 hours after the funeral of their parent to ask if flowers were received?! No one! That's who! It would be rude!!! We didn't find out until the Thank you notes went out. The family took pictures and documented every arrangement received and this one was NOT DELIVERED! The smaller basket order was delivered, but the second larger one was NOT! Extremely angered that $100 was wasted and the poor family received no offer of condolences when needed most!!!

    Ordered a casket arrangement to be delivered. We got to the funeral and did not see it. I called and asked about it and was told they cancelled the order because they didn't have the supplies. No call, just cancelled. I checked my email later and pubs that they sent an email 4 minutes before the funeral was scheduled. Trash service and trash business!

    The bouquet that I thought I was ordering for my mother's birthday.

    This was such a disappointing experience. False advertising and the prices are high for what you get.

    What I ordered

    Flowers were delivered same day. They say they don't charge for delivery but add a service fee which is price of delivery. Flowers looked sad compared to the pic online.
