But then sometimes I find a gem and feel that it needs to be spoken for, it needs people to know about it and this place is it! I was coming in for mug and found REAL vintage mugs and kitchenware. Heavy duty, porcelain, fancy brand kitchen stuff. I got a few beautiful mugs, some utensils, and one of those old school porcelain coffee makers with the metal strainer thing inside, you know? I don't know how to explain it and only older folks know how to explain and work the damn thing. And to my surprise everything was 30% off - even better was everything was already really inexpensive. I wish I had to time and the space in my car to dig threw the clothes, I'm sure it's awesome. Don't feel bad spending your money here. All of the employees are volunteers and the profits go to a senior living center in the community!

If you like clothes be prepared to spend some time treasure hunting in this shop. ON this year's trip I got a great deal on the most buttery leather Coach bag. I have been going here for at least 10 years when we go up to Door County on vacation and I am never disappointed. Besty, the owner, is the genuine article herself. It is a little tucked away in the cute boardwalk of shops behind the Piggly Wiggly grocery store. First, the store is larger than it appears - there's a second level too. Second - it's one of the cleanest antique stores I've ever seen. Everything was well organized, nicely displayed and not dusty. That really makes a difference. Third, it's a well curated selection - mostly smaller items, some handmade jewelry and a few "wow" items like working RR crossing lights. Most importantly, the prices were really reasonable. I scored a set of very delicate bird- themed vintage Christmas ornaments for just $1.75 each - they're in great shape and I've never seen anything quite like them before. I also snapped up 2 floral prints in beautiful Arts and Crafts frames for just $10/ea - the frames alone are worth that. Also know that they have a very good selection of vintage clocks and timepieces. The owner of those items was in store when we visited and explains that every watch is completely disassembled and reconditioned so you're getting something that will work well for many years. The shop is cute, the people that work here are really nice and the prices are more than fair - what's not to like?

It offered super cute vintage looking dresses, and fun jewelry. Make sure to check out Fred if you like modern-vintage and a fun atmosphere. Another highlight: Fred is affordable. Most items were well under $100 a piece. The dress I had my eye on was only $62.

It was a weekend and the store was busy but there was one young woman who was helping with shoes and never followed up to see if I needed another size. I packed up the shoes I didn't purchase while she stood and watched instead of saying, "I'll take care of this" - really? In any case, love the store....love the clothes...love the online options!

I did buy a couple of baskets. They had some really cool art in the back, but they were prints so I skipped them. The originals have been made with leaves and other botanicals to create some really interesting work, but it didn't have the same impact for me as a simple print. The shop carries a lot of home decor sorts of things like baskets, vases, bowls, candles, and that sort of thing. Also they have a wide selection of jewelry. I almost forgot about wanting to stop here until I checked the Yelp collection I made, and we didn't pass the store when wandering along Main Street because it was separated from most of the other shops to some extent, being next door to a restaurant and one other shop but removed from the bulk of the shopping area. So if you want to stop by keep your eyes peeled.
