Designed in the classic English landscape style, it covers 44 hectares and includes trees of both local species as well as exotic Asian and North American varieties.
The garden is the work of several designers: the oldest section was designed by the famous Royal Prussian Garden Director Peter Joseph Lenné. The the western section, the so-called "Jubiläumspark", was laid out in 1913 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the reign of Kaiser Wilhelm II.
At the center of the Kurpark lies the "Brunnenallee", a wide avenue lined with chestnut trees, along which are located most of Bad Homburgs medicinal springs, as well as the historic "Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad" and the "Brunnensälchen", which houses the famous Bad Homburg casino.
