I had another piece made for the short wall behind the cabinets and I asked them to leave it until I lowered the wall and added new backsplash. Finally finished it all this year and a BGCC team returned to install it. These gentlemen took such pride in their work to compensate for the short wall having been built not level. By the time they completed their work the top was level and the finish work looked great. I'm so very grateful for their efforts! This is such an easy company to recommend to others. Thank you!

Norman, Sharon, Wen, and Ian are exceptional--not just in their craftsmanship, but as people. They are some of the kindest and most genuine individuals we've had the pleasure of working with. They care deeply about what they do, and it shows in both the quality of their work and their reliability and responsiveness. The way they treat their clients is truly next level. They are consistently on time, dependable, and deliver beautiful results. Norman has an incredible eye for selections, and I really enjoyed learning from him about cabinetry craftsmanship. Since this was our first home remodel, we leaned on his advice often--and many of his suggestions ended up shaping our home in the best way. Throughout the entire process, they went above and beyond. Anytime we had a vision, we could call Norman and the team, and they would find a way to bring it to life. Norman would come out, take measurements, and make it happen. When I wanted a custom bookcase, they absolutely delivered. That level of dedication and follow-through is rare. Wen also played a huge role throughout our remodel. From answering every question to supporting us through the final stages, he was incredibly kind, patient, and present the entire time. The customer service we experienced was outstanding, and the quality of the materials, custom cabinetry, and installation exceeded our expectations. You won't regret working with this team. It's rare to find people who care this much about their craft and their clients. We're incredibly grateful to them for showing us what true excellence looks like.

He has also on multiple occasions noticed things that might need fixing and has suggested repairs and/or improvements. This is all without any pressure or obvious intent to drum up more business. I have also found him to be very resourceful and he has added his own suggestions on doing the project better than we had intended without any additional costs. He and his two man team are very hard working and just downright pleasant people to work with. They are all very courteous and careful to clean up the job site when complete. Finally, every bid we have received has been quite reasonable. He will work with you as a partner and in that kind of relationship both parties will benefit a great deal. If you are a micro-manager you will lose out on much of his value. He will do things exactly as you wish, but we suggest you take advantage of his wealth of experience.

We wanted to build a unique, custom deck that was half covered and half pergola with a lowered seating and fire pit area. We provided him a rendering of roughly what we wanted, but didn't have much else so he had to ask a lot of questions to bring the design to life. He showed up on site (a 30min drive one-way for him) to put eyes on the space, then gave us a quote in person. The cost was a bit high for our budget (due to the complexity of the project), so we worked a few changes to lower the cost into our range. After we signed the proposal, he started immediately. He said it would take 10 days and he met that timeline. Throughout the project he had a few questions and alternatives, and he didn't move forward without first getting our input. He went above an beyond with quality, you can tell he loves the work he does and takes pride in his work; he did not cut any corners. I would recommend him to anyone; if my grandma needed a new set of stairs, Jim is my first call. He is trustworthy, quality, and fairly-priced.
