At Meetinghouse he was included and celebrated and came home everyday full of stories about friends and things he'd learned. He loved his teachers and we want to highlight Ms. Maciolek and Ms. Snow in the young children classroom for their dedication and incredible care. They are so good at what they do. They brought calm and thoughtfulness. Our child talked about them with respect and about what they taught him. Mrs. Lancaster and Ms. Abby instantly connected with our child and made him feel part of a great culture. And Mrs. Smith is outstanding in how she runs the school and the tone she sets. My daughter was having feelings of being unable to understand math the way I was able to explain it. Math is a language. Helping your child learn that language is impossible if you do not speak that language with the same accent or in the same dialect as your child. I decided it was time to try private tutoring. We contracted with Bethany for twice weekly hour long sessions at first. Initially we drove to her home. Here we are, entering our seventh year of 1:1 tutoring with Bethany and we still feel this is the best decision we've made with regard to our daughter's math education. In fact, our daughter graduated Cum Laude from high school in May 2023 but wants to continue to work with Bethany! They are working on higher level mathematics now! They now meet online 1:1 for 50 minutes weekly. Our daughter took a gap year after graduation because she is working as the TA for the dean of her high school, as well as taking a class at our local community college before she leaves for college in September. She plans to continue working with Bethany until she is no longer able to. We highly recommend Bethany for math tutoring!
