Runa Kay was a nice pause to enjoy a cup of ice cream located in Marbella's old town at the Plaza de los Naranjos. The plaza is a maze already- so if you're strolling around and stumble on Runa, that's great. But to give us more of a sense of direction, we'd enter the plaza from Calle Jacinto Benavente as our 'landmark' and head down the street.
Erica (owner? manager?) gave us the inside scoop on Runa Kay's ice cream history- which turned out to be a quite tasty dairy, gluten and sugar-free (none that hubs and I adhere to) product. The common chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, etc ice cream flavors are listed- but it was their fruit-base flavors like their Lemon-Ginger or hubs' Pomegranate that grabbed our attention and held up just fine with Marbella's heat.
