I have been loyal rumpke customer for about 8 years,Rumpkee was always good about getting our trash on time and if you was a few days late on your payment,Rumpkee would still pick up your trash.lately for the past year or two rumpke has missed our trash,left it for weeks,apparently because of a payment that we made but they didn't process in time.this leaving us again with weeks of backed up trash.this makes at least 5 times in past 2 years they have done us this way. I'm paying a ridiculous amount for these people to pick up my trash and yet I am constantly having to call because their guys aren't doing their jobs! My trash pick up is on Wednesday, I have been calling these people for two days and my trash still isn't picked up although when I talked to them Wednesday they said somebody will come get it in 24 to 48 hours, so I call them again and they say well will will give you a credit for 7$ and you will just have to wait til the next scheduled pick up day! These fuckers keep buying up affordable options in the area and then charging you out the ass for the same service.

We had Rumpke trash pick up at a house we rented for a while in Lexington. They were awesome -- very flexible and gracious. My husband forgot to put the trash cans out one day, and they walked all the way up the driveway to retrieve the bins and empty the trash. Several other times they would arrive and see my husband rushing to get the trash cans down the driveway to the street, and they always waited. On other days that my husband forgot, they would at least wait for a bit at the house, and once they even came back by later in case he had put them out (he was home the whole time, which is how I know it happened... why he would always forget to put the bins out is another story :). Yay Rumpke! Their customer service on the route, and also on the phone, is excellent and we would stay with them if we weren't now on city trash pickup. read more
