Great experience, and I can't wait to go back soon! I purchased our tickets via Groupon, had some issues applying the redemption code to the order, but no problem. I gave them a call and they were able to get my reservation locked in. They are very accommodating as well, I did not time our trip right, due to not knowing that South Bend was an hr ahead of Chicago. Our reservation was set for 12, and they were able to push it back to 1:30. There is social distancing taking place, but you are not required to wear a face mask. I was extremely bothered by the lack of cleanliness of the bathroom, but didn't let that ruin my experience. We had a great guide named Matthew, he made us laugh showing us the ways. This is really a fun place to go for a family outing. If you're middle aged, it may be challenging. I did not do the top level, and my shoulders took a beating. My teens loved it and did it all. When you arrive, you do a 20 minute train,ing session. Its important to figure out how the harness and hooks work, since its not intuitive. During this session I wouldn't say its entirely clear, but once you hit the course you get it quick. The course goes in different directions and levels. Definitely do the easy level first, as you learn the harness system and get your balance. The zip line section of the easy section is very smooth and not quick. Once you get on the intermediate as tion you will know soon whether to go further up. I knew it wasn't for me, but my kids couldn't wait to embrace the challenge. A middle aged person will get sore and be done before the end of the two hour . session, but teens will still want to keep going. Went here for my brothers birthday and it was a blast. They have if I remember right 3 different obstacle courses to choice from (easy, medium, and hard). The staff helps you along the way, esp if you get stuck. It's pretty challenging but worth it for the zip line fun. Some of the zip lines are pretty high up. read more

This is our second time at Edge Adventures in SB. Both times we've gone, we've purchased the 3 hour adventure and we end up finishing all courses (takes us a little under 2 hours). This is such a great outing in South Bend! We had 3 kids with us today (13, 11 and 9) and everyone loved it! They were terrified and exhilarated all the same time. It was a little scary at first, but the staff was wonderful and the training course at the beginning made it perfect. Rum Village is a beautiful background as you as you walk through the trees.
