Had 8 hunters for 8 this season 6 had shots and 2 never got a shot Of the 6 who shot 2 recovered animals. Mismanaged and there is no help tracking animals. It was 1 guide for me and my 2 boys ....for the money there should be a better plan .....would never go back read more

Everything goes well at Ruggs Ranch. I have been hunting there for years. You can't beat the people, the food or the accommodations. Pool tables, ping pong, shuffle board, board games and darts. The bar is always stocked and you can rest assured that the memories from here will last a lifetime. read more

I'm not sure where to start. Do I go with the amazing customer service? They have or the five-star chef that made us breakfast, lunch , dinner, or the guys and gal's who took us out and showed us an amazing time. I'm talking beautiful scenery. Most importantly, I'm a sucker when it's time to get that rest. When I do come back, I will be asking for that same quail room. The nostalgia is breathtaking. The only thing better than the quality of the hunting is the staff at Ruggs Ranch. They deserve a 10 star rating without hesitation, just a great group of individuals! The owner John is a great guy & the operation reflects that. The lodge is well appointed, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The "game room" is a great place to unwind after the hunt, appetizers, drinks, pool table and shuffle puck.. beautiful mounts of game that's been harvested off the property. A great pro shop too.. The fields are perfect & the views, especially while on the shotguns and chaps horseback hunt, are jaw dropping! Wing shooters paradise..oh, and the clays course is an absolute blast!!
