Nach dem…read moreKonzert wurden wir direkt nachdem die Band von der Bühne war mit einem Wellenbrecher Gitter nach draußen gedrückt und angeschrien, dass wir raus gehen sollen. Wir konnten noch nicht mal unsere Sachen (Fahnen, Pullover, leere Getränkeflaschen usw.) vernünftig packen oder das Abschlusslied, welches von Platte gespielt wird und (zumindest gefühlt und inoffiziell) fester Bestandteil des Tourprogramms ist, genießen. Jugendliche/Kinder sind hier gar nicht willkommen. Unter 12 Jahren kommt man nur mit Kapselgehörschutz rein. Vernünftige Kinder-ohropax, die bestimmt besser dicht sind als zu große andere Ohrschützer, werden nicht akzeptiert und man muss trotz Ticket draußen bleiben oder wenn man Glück hat noch irgendwo neue (billige, die dann gar nichts taugen) aus dem Baumarkt kaufen. Ist angeblich gesetzlich so, dann haben sich die anderen 30 Clubs in den letzten zwei Jahren wohl nicht an die Gesetze gehalten?! Waren noch viele andere Probleme mit den Türstehern/Security Personal. Sowas schlechtes und unprofessionelles habe ich noch nie erlebt. Schade, so macht man einen ansonsten schönen Club kaputt.

It's not very well located, i mean for what people in Cologne are used to, a bit far, "wrong side" of the Rhine, etc. But it's really cool, looks like an old warehouse made to a club. Really underground from the way it's done, somehow a Berlin-style club. If you are into alternative not mainstream stuff full of college kids, this is the place to go.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The roof is retractable, so it makes it a bit boomy when closed, but not as bad as some other covered stadiums. All in all, a great place to see a game or a concert.

We arrived to the stadium as soon as the Will Call Booth opened to collect our tickets. The disorganization was unbelievable. Everyone in line was frustrated waiting in the hot sun. It took 90 minutes to get our tickets! When we returned for the actual concert, we purposely waited one hour after doors opened to avoid the crowds. It didn't matter. There were MOBS of people waiting to get in, with minimal amount of staff . We were happy to finally get to the venue.....and then we realized the stadium roof was CLOSED. Why?? The weather was beautiful. Yet, during a pandemic, the roof was closed . It was extremely hot with no ventilation. We ended up leaving after 5 songs, and we weren't the only ones. When I searched other reviews for this stadium, I saw many photos for events with the roof completely open, so IMO, it was a terrible decision to have a summer concert with a completely closed stadium.

Known formerly as 'Musis Sacrum', Latin for 'Dedicated to the Muses', it was originally built in 1847 and was expanded in 1888-90. The main orchestra hall is built on the model of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, complete with the names of famous composers along the balcony. The Gelders Orkest plays here almost every week but there's also many other concerts and events happening so make sure to check the schedule. The Musis is currently undergoing renovation, and a whole recital hall and foyer are currently being built on the park side of the building, this is expected to be finished in 2017. The building also houses the Mahler cafe, a bistro-cafe where you can grab lunch, coffee, or a pre-concert meal.
