Driving long hours, late at night I was searching desperately for a place to rest for the night. I…read moreknew my chances were slim as it was so late at night. Dulhelm House B&B not only had a room to offer me but they welcomed me with open arms. I was delighted to find such friendly hospitality after my long day of driving. I was offered a much needed warm beverage when I walked through the door, whilst they carried my bags to my room. They chatted away to me, interested in finding out about my journey and my life and I had a wonderful time learning about the history of the quaint little town of Bargara. Even though it was late I found myself enjoying my company do much that I did not retire until late. I was given extensive breakfast options the night before, which was much appreciated after days of takeaway. The bedroom I stayed in was beautifully decorated. It had a lovely ensuite and delightful decor. It was easily one of the most cutis tiredly decorated places I had stayed. The big bed was so comfy that as soon as I crawled into bed, I was sound asleep. The next morning breakfast exceeded my expectations. Delicious bacon and eggs. Wonderful fried mushrooms and thick slices of toast. It was exactly what I needed to start my day. After breakfasts my hosts were delighted to show me around the rest of their gorgeously decorated house. Each of the rooms mirrored the style and comfort of my own, with doors leading out to a lovely balcony out the front of each of them. My hosts told me they had recently acquired the business and were very excited about running their own B&B. I was astounded, they're warm reception and the smoothness of my stay had made me feel certain that they had been running it for years! When I departed Dunhelm House, I did so with a happy heart and wonderful memories. I can't wait to return in November for the turtle hatching season!
