However, the endorsements were unequivocal. I'm not big on sales people, but these guys told me the truth. Those products have changed the way I'm treated; leaving me slightly bamboozled by the effect that hair has.

Last time I visited I was given a free hair treatment as there were roads works just outside the front door and they were aware of the noise disturbing their clients. All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly. I have been three times now and received excellent service each time and its great value. I have recently been ill and was/am suffering hair loss - Michelle was so supportive and caring when I made the difficult decision to cut my long hair off after years of having it. She gave me a fantastic cut and great advice as to how to look after my hair and style it in its new style. She also gave me some free samples to try of hair products. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

What a great experience, with lovely decor and a super comfy couch while you wait for the cut. Ian specialises in vintage style cuts but is equipped to do anything you require as well as the moustache abs beard trim. Can't recommend this place place enough. A friend and I went to have our nails done and we were treated with no professionalism or respect…read more We were asked to pay before they painted our nails (which I only realised was the wrong procedure after speaking with my Mum). The procedure itself was rushed and was lucky if it received a glance or two. I had a French manicure done and there were smudges and gaps on all of my nails. My friend had a basic coat of nail polish done and had her Shellac ripped off instead of being professionally removed. The total cost was $55 and wasn't worth a cent. Do not go here. This is the first time I have gone to Pearl Nails in Charlestown Square and definitely the last. My friend and I are young and were taken advantage of even though we paid the same any customer would. I have had many great experiences with other Nail Salons.

She has her hair cut here and loves it…read more It's an owner run business who cares about those in the community giving cheap haircuts to kids for $10 and pensioner discounts etc. You can almost get an appointment on the day you ask or just walk in. Very reasonable all the way around. I can see why she has many trusted clients.
