New Orleans finest blocking our way after a shooting. Left vehicle unattended for quite some time.

On a recent trip to NOLA I took the Canal streetcar. I wish I had discovered it sooner as it was much cheaper than uber or Lyft. It was 1.25 a trip or 8 bucks for 3 days. They do take cash, pass or phone scan on the bus. The bus schedule on the Le pass app was never accurate. I would just have to walk to the stop and wait. I got caught in the recent shootings on canal street while on the streetcar. The bus driver was super calm and collected. We sat for 2+ hours in the madness. Then NO finest decided to block us on the tracks and we had to wait even longer. Talk about a trip on so many levels.

City Park/Museum back to Canal Street for $1.25

Easy, cheap, and convenient way to travel around Canal Street to City Park/Museum and back. The streetcart's AC kept us cool during this hot, humid day. We started off at Canal at Camp and got off at a City Park which took about 25 minutes. It did make every stop, but we weren't in a hurry. Only cost $1.25 per person. We used the RTA app to schedule our return trip back to our hotel since it runs on schedule.

Omg am on a trolley. This was so exiting to me. My state doesn't really have one like this. The trolley was very clean. The driver was pretty firm on everyone having a mask on. They all acted professional. It was a good ride. This is a good option to see the state if the weather is not to good. This is the reason I found myself in one today. The weather forecast said rain and flooding. I took 3 of the 4 trolleys. I bought the day pass. It was only 3 dollars, not bad. The trolley took me to the Garden District, canals, French Quarters and the cemeteries. I got to see most of area. I did a big loop came down and got on to the next trolley. The trolley i did not get on was park and museum one. It was getting late for me, maybe next time. I did enjoy the stress free ride. It is a good way to get around. You can hop off and on if you see something interesting. They come around pretty fast. The trolley ride has an app that you can download if you want to listen to interesting facts of what you are seeing. You do need earphones for this.

On time, clean, A/C, friendly driver. The bus is a great option. Not the charm, or sights of the streetcar, but it works for me! Plus COOL purple seats!

I arrived at the airport at 4:00. I scheduled a ride for 5:00 thinking that would be enough time to navigate an unknown airport. My 5:00 ride arrived at 6:15. I was told that there was another pickup scheduled. I was asked for a $15 payment. There is absolutely no mention of a cost of other than $2 on the web nor was I advised of this amount as I made the reservation. I spoke with dispatch who advised that this $15 charge was for transportation from the airport but $2 within the city for a ride. My luggage was not secured , rolled around and finally fell over. The driver did not stop to remedy the problem. I am secured in my wheelchair so I couldn't retrieve it. I'm used to riding Paratransit in many cities: this was my absolute worse experience.

The streetcar system is a great and inexpensive way to tour NOLA. A $3 all day pass will get you all over downtown and even through the garden district to see some amazing historical homes. The wait times are minimal. Multi lines cross all over the city. There were a few intoxicated folks hanging out at the stops during the day. We didn't venture out after dark though.

Awful app with no help for tourists. Waiting and waiting. Nothing for over an hour. Yelp makes leaving a review painful

Air conditioning and lots of seating make this preferable to the streetcars. $1.25 to ride

There is an open paid parking lot right next door. I paid $20 for full day parking. Since I purchased my tickets online, there was nothing I needed to do. There is plenty of seating available. Once it was time to board, the attendant told us how to line up. The seats were roomy and comfortable. After we got seated, the train attendant came by to check our tickets. The ride was nice and smooth. I chose coach seating and really didn't see a big difference with business class. They were just able to board first and had better access to the on board cafe. We visited the cafe to purchase coffee, juice, and muffins. We were also able to bring our own snacks. Once in Mobile we had just over 4 hours to site see. The only negative was the Depot in Mobile was outside. We had to wait in the cold before we were allowed to board around 4:10pm. I wish they had an indoor bldg or would've allowed us to board earlier since it was cold.

If you are staying downtown New Orleans, it is a very convenient airport shuttle, with a simple scheduling process at the 'Downtown Hotel Shuttle' area of MSY Airport. The price of shuttle service is much cheaper than catching a Lyft to-and-from the airport. I paid no more than $24 for a shuttle ride to my hotel located in downtown New Orleans, Central Business District. I adored the driver, Harry, who was very kind and informative beforehand, but this process is just not fair for those who have had a long flight and just want to get in and relax, or those who just want to explore New Orleans as soon as possible. On what appeared to be a slow day I ended up being the only rider, after I waited on the shuttle for an hour for seats to be filled. With New Orleans being one of the more touristy places, it still baffles me that this shuttle could not get more riders other than I within an hour. If you have no time restraints and staying within or nearby downtown New Orleans, then look no further than Airport Shuttle New Orleans. However, if you do have time restraints, I recommend not utilizing it because there is no consistency with the number of pick-ups from the airport, so you may have a wait. Anyway, safe travels, and blessings to all that read this review. Thomas G
