My miss as this…read moreDutch manufacturer has been in business since 1928 making mostly trucks with a car business that started in the 1950s. I can't say I recall seeing a DAF vehicle on the road in the USA. This large museum is filled with dozens of full trucks, buses, some truck cabs and lots of cars. You'll find haulers and tow trucks and fire trucks and military models and even an open-wheel race car. Everything is in perfect condition and they all have captions with detailed information on the model, how this particular one was acquired and some history. A number of the floor models are available to be climbed into for pictures through most are "no touching" which is understandable. The small gift shop has models and postcards and such for purchase. This is the last, and finally, rest stop prior to entering the Netherlands from Belgium on the…read morehighway. There were no road-side rest stops with fuel or toilets for over 100 km. An odd smell when you walk inside, but they have clean bathrooms (for .70 cents) and everything else you need. There is a Burger King inside too.
