completely unprofessional. straight up told my mom that they were trying to potty train my grandma at 90 years old. she would tell them she had to use the restroom and they told her she had gone enough that day and refuse to take her. would cut our visits short if they were an inconvenience to them. the final straw for me was we went to visit her christmas day 2021 and there were employees literally wrestling in the hallways, the activities lady who came to get us was very rude and criticized the gift we got my grandma, then proceeded to corner us on our way out demanding to know why we were going to be removing her from the facility. when the day came to move her, they did not even allow us to pack her belongings. when we got there, all her belongings were literally thrown in personal belonging bags. they werent even folded. i wouldnt send my worst enemy here. read more

Putting one's loved one in a facility for rehab or to live is a hard choice. I'm glad Royalton Manor does both. They have great staff, decent food, lots of activities, and when Mom's happy, everyone is happy. read more

My mother came to Royalton Manor for care because of her advanced dementia. My sister and I never wanted to put her into a care facility. Her health changed so so drastically . I have to say it turned out to be the best move for her. She has around the clock care. There are always nurses on the floor and several care givers. Activities are provided several times a day to stimulate their minds and get them movement. I am so pleased with her care. Meals are good. Some better than others. All staff come together at meal times to assist residents. Baths and grooming for residents are well cared for. Stay involved with your loved one. They need your love and support and involvement in their care. If ever there is an issue in care staff want to know so they can address it. I have been very pleased with how any of my concerns have been taken care of immediately . I highly recommend Royalton Manor if your loved one needs ongoing care. Darla Proffer read more

Try to remember all of the horrible things you've heard about nursing homes and this will give you an idea of what Royalton Manor has to offer. Luckily, my dad was only there for a couple of weeks, following a recent stroke. I'm not sure he would have been able to survive a visit of any greater length. The blatant disregard for the health and well being of their patients is disgusting. The rude, incapable, uncaring and unprofessional nurses, doctors and therapists that we encountered is mind boggling, truly. From medication not being given, to my dad losing 20 lbs (because he was unable to swallow and nothing was done about it, until he came home and the problem was immediately obvious), to a fall that we believe was never reported, to observing a "physical therapy session"(without the staff knowing) where my father was left in a wheelchair, with his head hanging in his lap. Any time my mother tried to talk to both the doctors and nurses on staff, she was treated like a criminal. My mother is a very soft spoken woman, who I have never witnessed being rude or demanding a day in my life! Her treatment was undeserved, and the staff at Royalton Manor should be ashamed. These are only a very few of the things that occurred in the short time my dad stayed at Royalton. I shudder to think of the things that occurred of which we were unaware. I cannot stress enough how dangerous I believe this place to be as a care provider of any kind. read more
