God, what a gorgeous day on a Sunday in April. I didnt feel like the beach, so I suggested to mom we just take a look at the water at this park. It was busy, however, not congested. Quiet, except for some little ones playing in the fountain. The park has seating, a pier overlooking the lagoon, clean restrooms, 6 tables for a lunch (bring), handicap access and just all-around peace. People camped-out reading the paper or a book on the grass, and no sand to cope with on a breezy day! A retreat for the mind. During the first part of the pandemic, the beaches were closed and it was popular to just sit and stare at the water, and, because restaurants were only open for takeout, a good place to sit outside with fresh air to eat!
