Firstly, they custom make your own individual scent if you so desire. Honestly there are literally over a million variations as they have over 100+ base scent oils for both men and women that you can mix in different ratios to find your own unique scent. There are endless possibilities which I found out! If you're not inclined to custom make your own perfume, you can just have 1 scent. I bought a few like that including bergamot, patchouli, musk and magnolia! They all smelled beautiful. You can also pick and choose from over 1,000 brand name perfumes in stock. Bonus is they also have a huge variety of incense, Oud's and everything scentful you can imagine in this store! Zajil helped me pick the scents to mix together. I was able to experiment with mixing the oils and trying them out too. I bought a bunch of smaller roll on bottles that are great for my purse. These make great gifts but are also great for your purse, pocket or kept in s drawer for those times when you just need a pick me up. My experience with exchanging currency at this shop: I had leftover Canadian currency so after I purchased my souvenir items I exchanged my CAN into USD. The exchange rate was 1 CAN dollar = 0.7117 USD. Which to me was accurate for that day (5.29.17). Also there was a .50 cent transaction fee that I felt was MORE than reasonable. On the way into Canada I missed the duty free shop and had to exchange my US money at a local bank in Windsor. They charged a 2.50 transaction fee. I would definitely recommend exchanging your money at a duty free shop if necessary. My bank card charges a 3% foreign transaction fee so I felt the small charge at the duty free shop was well WORTH IT.

This a truly unique experience to create your own custom made scent! It is a four step process: Step 1: Smelling - you actually smell 50 fragrances. The five categories are floral, flavors, citrus, woodsy, and seasonal. There is a glass flask of coffee beans to help cleanse your nose palate with all of the smelling. You will need a phone to create an account and mark which fragrances you like. Step 2: Blending - once you have narrowed the scents you like, now it is time to blend them on paper test strips in various combinations. Step 3: Deciding - once you have various blends that you created, it's time to settle on your very own custom fragrance. Yay! Step 4: Naming and Choosing - once you have settled on your scent, you get to name your fragrance! Yay! Then you choose the product you would like to purchase with your newly named scent. It can be in several products such as perfume, cologne, lotion, body butter, bath salts, bath fizz, room spray, shaving cream, car fresheners, etc. Once you have settled on your purchase the Aromatender makes your product to take home. I absolutely loved what I made and I had a body butter made, which is perfect for applying right out of the shower. I wore it out to dinner the other day and received a compliment on it before I could sit down! lol The great thing is that your signature is saved for future purchases. I will definitely go back to order more of my custom scent. You can also bring your empty Aroma Labs container back to get a 20% discount on a refill. This makes for a pretty cool group experience. The store is limited to 16 customers at a time so calling for a reservation is recommended. The seating is four people per pub table stations with two sets of scent testers to share.
