Ordered Sheekh Kebab Roll for Take Away
Upon arrival at my house just a few minutes later and eager to eat, I started to eat my Kebab which had a premixed salad and mint sauce within it. As I was just about quarter done, I saw a small screw in the midst of the kebab/salad/sauce mixture. I rang the outlet to complain, who, were very unhelpful. I knew for a fact that they would say the screw was not from their outlet and I wanted them to come to my house to the exact location where and I sat and ate my kebab and I can assure there are no falling screws from my ceiling. At this point they refused andmade me take the kebab back to them. When I took back there was no apology, my money was thrown back at me and I was told my custom is not required. And all this because I made a complaint?!
They refused to give their names or take any notice of this complaint. A picture of the screw in the kebab was taken on my phone and it attached for your reference. The conversation has been heard by a friend that was on the phone to me from the minute I picked up the kebab to the minute I took it back. The call I made to the shop was also made in such manner that she heard the entire conversation as proof. (conference call). At no point did they even contemplate in making an apology for the inconvenience. Whatever happened to the phrase the customer is always right? I would like to know what will be done about such outlets in the Watford area that think they can intimidate people and continue to carry on in such a manner! It's an Asian outlet and was a full of men - is this why they took no notice of me, because I was a girl?! read more
