The interior have remained the same, but the quality of food improved in my opinion, though for years don't play well in this case. The only disappointing but was the onion banjee, which have been fried in a dirty oil and left soaked. Price wise it is OK, and the service too. Aim to come back again, wife permitting :)

Basically I couldn't find the difference between passanda and makhani dishes, but both are really good. The meat be it chicken or lamb is always tender and nice, the sauces they are in have a nice purée texture. Papadoms with sauces that they serve at the beginning are a must and I could it a ton of those!:) The service here is ok but the waiters rarely smile and if you're not sure about something they sort of make you feel intimidated. Also they don't seem to care much of what you think about them or the restaurant or anything really, they look a bit out of place. At the same time they are not rude or neglecting so I'd say the service could be improved, but though its not terrible. Decor looks dated, the carpets look dirty,and the furniture is fairly old, which makes you feel like you are actually in India:) although you might think that the place looks dirty, but their hygiene seems to be just fine in the kitchen. I've been there more than 5 times and never had any problems. Good place, good food, great value for money, makes you feel like you are in India:)

The ones in America have a thick crunchy exterior and lots of veggie filling served with a nice Tamarind sauce. They did not offer Tamarind sauce ( brown sauce ). Odd enough the tamarind sauce that I have tried here from the grocers ( Morrison's ) was a bit vinegary. Perhaps that's how it is made here. I also had tried the Chicken Tikka Masala. That was also different here in the England. It seems it is made with a sweet sauce. I've tried several Indian restaurants and the Tikka Masala sauce all seem to be based on a sweet sauce. In America it's not sweet. It has a tomato, green pepper, basil and cream flavor. The Garlic Naan was alight. I would had preferred it to be more warm and crispier. The service was good. So was the ambiance. Because the food here is differently prepared from what I am used to, I think a fair rating would be 3 out of 5 based on service, ambiance and portions. However, the food I thought was mediocre. The prawn puri we had to start was not bad, but the chicken jarfrezi consisted of large slices of union, very little in the way of sauce and some chicken pieces that had come off a tandoor kebab stick (they had holes in the midle) rather than be cooked for the dish. It was pretty tastless as was the chicken tikka massala. There is much better to be had I'm afraid.
