We ended up just usi g our phone for internet next morning still didn't connect. Pillows were terrible I had to sleep with no pillow as it was giving me a sore neck, which isn't good for a 10 hour drive the next day.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. For a brand new hotel, it's awful. We were a little worried…read morewhen we noticed how much the carpet was worn in a hotel that's only been there for a year. Well, they didn't just cheap out on the carpet. The walls are paper thin. We were on the 2nd floor, and could hear EVERY noise outside. Car doors, car radios, and people talking. The most unbelievable parts was the creaking floors. Anywhere you step the floor creaks loudly. Halls, the room, even the tiled bathroom. The bed also creaks when you sit on it or move on it. But it's not just the bed that creaks, it's the floor under the bed that creaks at the same time! And it wasn't just a freak thing that our room was as creaky as an old gate. We were awaken a couple hours earlier than we had hoped because the group above us had decided it was time to get up. It wasn't the thump of their footsteps we heard, as they actually were quite light on their feet, but with every step came the creak of their floor, too. This was probably the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I'm not even sure this hotel would withstand a strong wind from how poorly it seems to be built. If you want to sleep, don't go here, trust me. I know it was reasonably priced, but for a few bucks more, I could have gone somewhere I could have slept. Good points, a nice big flat screen TV, and a nice big shower stall.

For some reason the motels in Weyburn are ridiculously expensive for what you are getting and this…read moreplace is no exception. It was the cheapest place I could find that I would be willing to stay at and at $80/night, that is a bit much for me especially since the place is a pit. The outside of the motel is fairly run down and the rooms are no different. The towels and bedding were stained and the wall paint was cracking. I don't even want to explain how nasty the shower was - suffice it to say, there was no hanging out in the shower. The only good things about my stay was that it was very close to the highway (but let's face it, everything in Weyburn is) and the girl at the desk was great eye candy. Those 2 things definitely wouldn't warrant a repeat visit.

This is one of the tougher "2-star" ratings I've given. I so much want to give it 3. I want to…read moregive it 3, because the check-in dude was EXTREMELY friendly! When I had some wi-fi troubles, he took a lot of his time to help me fix it by literally walking my computer down the hallway until it connected with his server. I THINK his name was Darrell. We had a good, fun conversation as he was getting all my paperwork taken care of. I paid less than $65. The town of Weyburn looks like a "rough and tumble" oil town, so I (not to be critical of the place), I don't know how much "scenery" you're going to get when pulling up on the main streets of this place. When I walked in the hallway, it was in pretty bad shape, although it looks like they MIGHT be remodeling. Long pieces of wood, a door lying on its side, and debris cluttered parts of the walkway. My king size bed was comfortable though; and the room was clean. Granted, the room was furnished with older furniture; but for $55 + tax/fees; what do you expect? The dude who checked me in recommended that I park between the inn and the highway. Here came another concern; because it was totally dark; and there were some people lurking behind a parked truck about 150 feet away from me. It marked one of the few times in my life where I was concerned about what was left in my car. So I took my bass inside with me; and didn't think much more. There might be other places to stop besides here. If you're single or with 2 people; then ask for room 302. It was clean, basic, quiet and had a good working (older) a/c unit. My stay was so good that I want to give it a 3, but yeah...Until they get all that crap out of the hall ways, and clean up a bit; I'll stick with 2 stars.
