The only questionable piece of the process was that the vehicle did not have recent recorded inspection information, so I'll still need to take the car to a mechanic for full peace of mind, but everything else about the process went smoothly And the car ran great all the way home. When I asked to test drive, they found that they had lost the key to the truck. I was asked to return 3 hours later. Upon returning, the key they had promised to order from Chevrolet still wasn't there. I had to wait another hour for them to figure out who was going to go get it. 2. Once on the test drive, I was advised by the owner that they had all service records for the vehicle. Upon signing, they had *lost* them. 3. I was told I would be given a 21 day trip permit - again, once I gave them cash for the vehicle, I was told that they were out of 21 day trip permits. I was given a 10 day trip permit instead 4. As of today, 6 weeks after the purchase, I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED THE TITLE. So I have a truck that I haven't been able to drive for the past 4 and 1/2 weeks. I can't register it, I can't get tags. 5. I've called numerous times regarding this issue. The first time I was referred to the DMV. The DMV says that there has been no activity on the title. The second time I called I was told to call right back and ask for the manager. I called back, it went to voicemail. So, I've given this dealership 4,500 cash for a truck I can't drive. It would have taken one phone call to resolve this on their part, but now I'm forced to call my lawyer. Buyer beware.
