I think to help combat food contamination, the prep maker needs to clean off the knife every time they cut their subs. I had the Club sub, like always, but mine had some extra stuff that I didn't ask for like their was a piece of roast beef that happen to tag along with my sub which doesn't come with my sub, as well on the cut tip of the sandwich had the taste of hots, which I do not like and surprisingly I got a mouthful. Not knowing the drill, we had to figure out that you needed to go to the back of the store to order your food. They take your order. What was impressive was that the cold meats and cheeses were cut to order. The subs come in 3 sizes - mini, regular, and giant. You order by #. All subs are made to order. We had a #17 ($18.65), which was a Mike's Famous Philly that normally comes with grilled onions, peppers & white American cheese. We asked for ours to have just the meat, provolone and mayo. I wish I had thought to say light mayo, because it had way too much on the sub. The rolls were soft, but a lot of bread. The other sub we ordered was a #13 ($17.95) which was The Original Italian, which came with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni - then they added lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. This sub was loaded with meat and cheese. The subs are not inexpensive - the minis run about $7.45, regular $10.25, and giant $17.95 (depending on what sub you order). Don't be surprised to see when you check out there is a request for a tip!
