Foot freedom I am a…read moreconvert. Having previously viewed podiatrists as a necessary evil associated only with advancing age, a knee injury forced me to re-think my unfounded assumption. Desperate to relieve a flare up of an old knee injury and having seen many press advertisements for Foot and Leg Centre and receiving a personal recommendation from my massage therapist I took a leap of faith. I guess it's not rocket science - if your feet are out of alignment then your knees and hips are most likely as well. This proves to be true with most of the Foot and Leg Centre's clients and certainly in my case. Successfully working on my feet has fixed my knee pain. My knee pain was so bad at one stage I could only go down stairs 1 foot at a time. I now visit only for quarterly maintenance visits (or when I fall off my bike!) and I am back to all former fitness activities. The Foot and Leg Centre has two locations - North Adelaide and Glenelg. Our family have now attended both sites and I have been extremely impressed by outstanding customer service, professionalism and the treatment provided. Ted and his team are sought out by podiatrists from around the world to train their unique method. I highly recommend The Foot and Leg Centre (Glenelg and North Adelaide). Overcome your "only for old people" prejudice that's preventing you from effectively treating that niggling pain in your heel, knee, hip every time you run or play sport like I did. Be kind to your body - it's the only one you've got!!!

This medical centre has had a few changes over the years. I have been going here recently because…read moremy regular GP moved from the Broadway Medical Centre into this centre along with all the other practitioners that were there. My doctor is an amazing practitioner, having seen me through the ailments of childhood with my girls when they were young right through to present time. His name is Dr David Hughes and he is the most knowledgeable GP I have ever come across. He is also warm and understanding and not patronising in any way, unlike some other practitioners. I can also recommend Dr Balkwill. However, be warned, I did experience one of the worst doctors here also. I cant remember his name but he was involved in the travel clinic. As a medical centre it provides many services and doctors. The travel clinic is here to give medical advice on travelling and vaccinations. It is a very busy centre and you are often put on hold when you ring them. The receptionists are pleasant enough and the clinic is spacious and utiilitarian. Appointments are pretty much on schedule which is a credit to a busy practice.
