I had been looking forward to trying this place for over a year. I doubt that I have ever been more disappointed by hype. The ice cream was supposed to be the best, it was mediocre at best. Customer service was non existent, staff ignored customers who seem lost, yes me. I will never come here again. Please don't listen to people who hype place up. read more

Free samples? Ice cream? Fudge? Cherries? Cider? Pie? Does it sound like I'm describing heaven? It's pretty close. Unfortunately, heaven is down in Santaquin which is a little far from Orem. Luckily, we head to my wife's homeland in southern California often enough that I'll be able to try this celestial treat haven a few times per year. Rowley's Red Barn has everything your sweet tooth could ever crave. Post hike wife and I had heard that RRB has some great fresh fruit, so we went by hoping to get some cherries . . . we left with cherries, ice cream, boysenberry jam, and a belly full of samples. I LOVE places like this where they have a bunch of local treats with fresh produce and TONS of samples! It's just so charming, and the food is always good. While driving from Idaho to California I saw a billboard for this place and had to check it out. It was kind of out in the middle of nowhere. So glad I stopped, it was so cute and had all kinds of wonderful stuff. There where apple orchards all around, not something we see alot of in Californa. The staff were all so nice and helpful. With my brown bag in hand I was picking out my bag of apples from the lrg bins filled to the top with red, green and yellow delicious looking fruit when a young man ask if he could cut any apples for me to taste. I bought all kinds of goodies...apples, a jar of apple butter, apple syrup even a cute set of salt and pepper shakers. My only regret is not getting some ice cream or fudge. If your on the I15 take a few minutes to stop, you will have fun in this big barn forsure. read more

The fudge. Do yourself a favor and just go and try the fudge. Absolutely delish. Lots of fun different kinds of candy almonds you can get by the pound too. First off this is a bit of a tourist trap, BUT it's actually a good spot. We live close so we frequently stop in for a few thinks that's they are the best for. I recommend the Apple ice drink, it's amazing on a hot summer day/night. We also love the choice of fresh vegetables especially the mushrooms. The kids love the hard serve ice cream. read more

They have the best fresh apple cider. They also make slushies out of their fresh cider which are awesome right after a run. I saw that you can get the slushie a-la-mode (mixed with ice cream) too. They make their own ice cream too, have a candy/fudge/baked good counter, they sell fresh and dried local fruit, frozen pies you take home and bake yourself, and the list goes on. They always have a few of their products out to sample, which I love. You have to try out their apple cider doughnuts which are only available in October, they come in glazed and sugared. read more

Living about 8 miles away, we visit the Red Barn quite regularly. I'd say at least twice a month in the winter and probably once a week during the rest of the year. We have a lot of ice cream lovers in our family and they are never disappointed. The atmosphere is fabulous and we love just hanging out enjoying a variety of treats.
