The parking lot is large with reserved spots for law enforcement and cars with a disabled plate/sticker. There is only one parking spot for wheelchair loading Vans. In the summer part of the parking lot is used to sell/store seasonal supplies such as landscaping timbers and mulch, etc. It is amazing how much they can pack into such a small store. Think Super Walmart only less of it. TV's, laptop and computer accessories can be found here just like cellphones, guns, fishing gear and toys. The clothing/shoe department is small but well stocked for adults as well as for children. A seasonal department offers gardening supplies and lawn mowers in the summer and Holiday decor during the winter. There are basic pantry staples as well as a dairy/cold case. This Walmart does not have a separate liquor store - there is a small shelf of alcoholic drinks and mixers. They do offer some arts and craft supplies as well as books and magazines. The store is wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms are male/female only and also wheelchair accessible. A changing station is available. The staff is generally very helpful but returns (especially electronics) are often a problem. We have tried to return a cell phone several months ago that was well within the time frame specified for returns. Despite having a receipt, all the original packaging and the credit card used for purchase we were told they could not accept the return because the phone was purchased at a different location. Another return of a television was also denied. The reason given was that there was nobody in the Electronics Department that could verify the serial number of the TV. Checkout is available at three registers, the customer service desk and several self-checkout stations. This is not a 24-hour location. This Walmart is open 6am - 11pm 7 days a week, Pharmacy hours are 9am - 9pm Mo - Friday, 9am - 7pm on Saturday and 10-7pm on Sundays. This store does not require the wearing of masks.

Turns out that they have sandals, walking shoes, all kinds of sneakers, boots and the biggest pair of shoes that I have ever seen, they are on display. They used to belong to a gentleman that was 8'11" tall. You have to go there to read the story yourself. Jeff is the purveyor, I believe for the last 26 years or so and Billie is there to help him out and she is awesome, it was a pleasure to meet them. I WOULD RECOMMEND.

Towne Pharmacy is located inside the Mace Grocery store on Franklin Street in Cuba, MO…read more Covid protocol: No masks required. Staff works behind a large plexiglass screen and keeps person-to-person contact to an absolute minimum. A drive-up window and delivery service (within city limits) are also available. This pharmacy offers Covid booster shots but you need an appointment. I'm not sure if there is a fee. We switched to Towne Pharmacy after a disastrous experience at a Mass retailer pharmacy. The bad part: right before the pandemic Towne Pharmacy underwent an organizational change. The resulting disorganisation was terrible to say the least. Thankfully that's all behind them. And now for all the good parts: We order 24 different medications each month. That is a lot for anyone to keep track off, but somehow this Pharmacy manages. They have also managed to make sure we get all the medications on the same day each month. This was made partly possible by giving partial refills one month and catching up the next but a Pharmacist familiar with Medicare/Medicaid billing played the biggest part in this. They will automatically order refills and I don't have to constantly call the doctor's office trying to keep track of what needs to be refilled, what needs to be deleted and availability dates. Huge peace of mind right there! Towne Pharmacy also offers "Medpack" at no extra charge. All your medications for each day are in a little packet and all you have to do is open it and swallow the content. We took advantage of this for about six month and it worked great. There was an envelope for morning, afternoon and nighttime medicines. We stopped using the service because of frequent dosage changes, not because there was something wrong with it. It just wasn't something that worked for us at the time. They also offer compound medications. Getting their medication in forms other than pills can be great for someone who cannot swallow or for small children. The coumpound medication can take the form of liquids or lollipops. Again, no extra charge. They are very responsive when there are medication/dosage changes. I call them to alert them that the doctor has changed/added a medication and they will bring the new medication as soon as it becomes available. Most of the time it's the same or the next day depending on what time I call them. In very rare cases has a medication not been available or could only be partially filled because the Pharmacy didn't have sufficient quantities on hand. In that case I either get a phone call or the delivery person will alert me that they will bring the rest of the medication as soon as they get it. Again, that usually happens the next day. We live within city limits, so I take advantage of the free delivery. The delivery driver calls mid morning to let me know they are coming and I will get the medication in the early afternoon. They have occasionally also delivered in the late afternoon, but that seldom happens. As far as I know Towne Pharmacy accepts most insurance plans. I have yet to think of a question that I can ask them that they were not able to answer. Maybe in the next five years I think of one.
