I have two dogs, both very energetic. I also have a dog park close to me but so many dogs play in the dog park that there's no grass left.
Now I drive to Rouse Hill, it's about 20 minutes from where I live but it's worth it.
It's like the five star compared to the budget: Bags for doggy poop, buckets of water and lots of grass to run around on. I had driven past it many times and thought it was a cricket pitch, I never realised it was a dog park.
Dogs are funny creatures, they're very territorial but put them in a situation where they are all equal and the territory isn't their's and they become the best of friends.
You see all types at the dog park, little dogs, big dogs, energetic and playful dogs. You also see a lot of doggy people. If you go to the park at the same time every week you see the same people and you get quite friendly. It's a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. read more
