when the tough bugs is there they tell you there is nothing they have that will kill black…read more gnats and they walk away from the job. really they did not even call themselves they had the service spray man call to ... say the boss told him to walk away from it . not professionalist all . in that whole place there is no real scope to use to identify these bugs . little thing that the batteries and the scope i was not working 2 times and they used a flash light. the big boss in that office did not even have cards with his name and did not know squat ......... i felt so sorry for the service guy because he knew he saw the bugs but they did not give him enough to spray and he tried calling them . no one ever called him back he stayed here almost an hour looking around and waiting for the boss to call him ... he finally gave up made another appointment for us for friday but today he called us and told us what the boss said . chicken crepe place ! don't waste your money . if you have a tough bug problem they will walk away. someone has got to have something that kills black biting gnats........ but orkin does not ! we signed a contract with them but they are the ones who broke it if we would have wanted to break it i bet we could not have . tis was the only place that could identify these bugs but they can't help us to get rid of these things .martha and chester christensen

It was replaced with fresh bait, but I question if that was all they should do ? Doesn't an empty canister indicate termite activity ? My house is raised and underneath is easily accessed. Should not a visual inspection of under the house in the area of the empty canister been done ? I feel it should be done. Apparently LaJaunie's inspection procedures don't require actually looking for infestation. A visual inspection would have given them a GREAT rating instead of a 2. Guess I'll get under the house and do the visual inspection myself.

Thank God. Within the first 5 minutes of site visit their inspector pointed out that the insect we were dealing with was the poultry mite from European starling birds nesting in our walls. These lovely creatures had drilled holes above our porch columns and shacked up with us. That would have been fine, I guess, except for the fact that THEY WERE INFESTED WITH POULTRY MITES. For the love of all things holy. It was quite the marathon - head to toe (literally the instructions were to sleep with this cream on from neck to bottom of your soles) lice treatment. Twice! And twice because until LaJaunie came - we had NO IDEA where these poppy seed - sized buggers were originating from. Enter LaJaunie's... 1) Insect (excuse me, arachnid) identified. 2) treatment applied. I had one issue that needed sorting and the owner personally called me and made sure his best team visited my home. 3) follow up from the best of the best wildlife squad JOBIE and SHANE. They shut the poultry mite operation down. Permanently. Then they offered to help me unload my vehicle of groceries and help set up my 8 year old daughters birthday party. What? That exists? In my opinion, do NOT automatically believe the company's response without reviewing the actual facts and documentation yourself.** My experience with LaJaunie's Pest Control was extremely disappointing and financially stressful. I was sold a very expensive rodent package, including approximately **$18,000 in exclusion work** that was supposed to help prevent rats from entering the home, in addition to attic cleaning and ongoing pest services. Despite all of this work and money spent, I STILL had rodent activity afterward and was repeatedly told to "just wait, it takes a while." **PLEASE READ THE CONTRACT CAREFULLY.** From my understanding, the cancellation terms heavily favored the company and included major financial penalties tied to the remaining balance of the agreement. The billing issues became even more concerning: * After already making **11 out of 12 payments**, I was told I could cancel and would not owe additional payments. * I later continued receiving charge notifications and attempted charges to my card. * I spoke with **Shelly twice** and was specifically told there would NOT be an additional **$49 charge** because they were "just picking up bait boxes." * Another charge was still processed anyway. * When I called back, management stated I still needed to pay. I was also told the company "records everything," yet the information later being described as part of my alleged agreement was NOT what I stated during the conversations. I requested copies of the recordings they referenced and am still waiting. Fortunately, I also keep my own records of conversations. When I raised concerns, I was told the employee involved "no longer works for the company." Again: PLEASE document everything in writing, save screenshots, review every clause carefully, and get multiple opinions before committing to any large pest-control contract.
