The owner of Round Up Realty, Stephani Hardy, personally helped us find a house. She went above and beyond to help us find our dream home and location. We saw at least 20 homes ranging from Forney to Caddo Mills, without frustration she answered all questions we had about the properties and never once gave up on us! She was extremely prompt when asked for viewings of homes. We ended up having a tough time with our Lender and she was professional and on top of any problems that arose. When I signed a lease for a property, the property manager told me that I was going to be paying double the deposit and that they would honor using that as my last two months rent. ($2800, which is equal two months rent) During the middle of my lease term the company I originally rented from was taken over by roundup reality. They decided to inform me today that they will not honor what I was told when I signed my lease. For September and October and have added additional late fees, Though I submitted documentation supporting what I was told! (My lease is up at the end of this month!!) I haven't heard from this company since the end of September nor did they try to reach out to me to let me know that they weren't going to honor what I was told. They have Really put me into a bind. When I asked if they would remove the late fees associated so I could pay just what is due the owner completely ignored my request, like it wasn't her issue!!! I have decided to contact the BBB and forwarded all of the information and documentation supporting this to my attorney! Absolutely ridiculous. read more
