This is the first time we visited this Round Table Pizza at Orange. We ordered 3 lunch specials (Mon-Fri): Avocado sandwich, Pastrami sandwich, and spaghetti with garlic bread. They all came with chips and soda. We were delighted to see how very generous they are with freshly-made ingredients, huge portion and tasty; quite different than other restaurants. Great Service Today! Also other days but specially tonight. I want to thank Ali(not sure if he is the manager or not) but thanks to him I got to eat pizza!!!!! So yelp shows their closing hours at 11p, so I called at about 845p to inquire about delivery and spoke with Ali who said they stop doing delivery at about 815p since they close at 9p???? Thought maybe he game me the wrong closing hours since yelp shows 11p so I ordered online at around 855p. I get a phone call in about 2mins after my order was submitted. It was Ali who asked if I was ordering online for tomorrow 3/13. I was confused, so he advised since they close at 9p the order is for tomorrow's date. Advised Ali the order is for today since they close at 11p and I would be picking up the pizza. That's when he explained they close at 9p but for some reason yelp still shows they close at 11p and apologized. I thought I wasn't going to be eating pizza tonight BUT Ali said if I could be there by 915p he would put in my order!!!! Woo woo!!! So I told him I will be on my way! Yelp challenge 2015 310/365 Easily one of the best quick pizza lunch buffets around, located at Katella and Tustin. For about $8.00 you get AYCE pizza, bread sticks and salad bar. I used to frequent this buffet often when I worked in Orange. The only bad thing is, this buffet is a magnet for construction workers who have a bottomless pit. When you see them come in, drop what your eating and run to get more pizza before they take it all. I am serious, they dont care about your tummy, why should you be polite to their tummy? Came in and sat at the bar. The woman working didn't acknowledge me until I waved at her (15 minutes later). I asked her for a menu and she informed me that I should've ordered from the counter. My main question is why have a bar top of they're not willing to trend bar? If she would have said hi when I walked in, I would have taken it from there (instead of sitting there waiting to be served). Let me tell you, this place has the best customer service ever, (Shout-out to Juan & Kimberly) and they have the best tasting pizza I ever tasted. I wasn't sure what I wanted to get but Juan was kind of enough to give me the recommedation of the Itlaian Garlic Supreme pizza that sounded like the best option. When our pizza arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded. The crust was crisp, flavorful, and chewy. The toppings worked together beautifully. The sauce was packed with flavor, and the mozarella had a great consistency with the right amount of oil. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit. Drove by and they have HUGE signs advertising the Lunch Buffet. Also signs outside regarding mask mandate. NOT ONE CUSTOMER WAS WEARING A MASK!! And no employee enforced the rule. So we go in and ask for the lunch buffet, cashier Juan B. tells us the buffet is closed due to covid. So we ask why they are advertising it on their windows...all Juan says is that they never change the window display and that they printed a small sign (which you can't see from the street) that the buffet is closed. THAT IS FALSE ADVERTISING. A lady comes in and orders a pizza with a salad and she was allowed to go up tp the salad bar and make a salad, and without a mask, BUT due to covid there is no salad bar??? WTF? What is the difference? Dirty tables everywhere but Juan was too busy watching sports on the 2 very loud TV's to clean any tables. The food here is standard for round table. Which is normally good. I brought my family and a few friends in on Saturday night Jan 5. I'm it sure who the owner is or who the manager is but this place was so understaffed. Upset customers waiting too long for their food. Misplaced orders. Salad buffet was empty. Soda syrups needed refilling. No clean utensils. The pizza is already expensive. Paying $30 for a large pizza I expect a clean fork and knife at least. The employees were trying their best. Lemme start off by saying the food is good. My wife and I love Round Table. While it is more expensive than other places we think its worth it. I'm actually surprised I'm rating a Round Table Pizza below a 5. That said, 2 times now we have received gift certificates from friends. Both times we have used them we've been told we can't use it along with a coupon. Gift certificates are the same as cash, just another method of payment. We're not trying to stack coupons. But both times have required a phone call to a manager or owner that is not in the store. Another thing about the gift certificates is that they will not let you use part of it. Each gift certificate we have received has been $50. While the pizza is a little more expensive, $50 of pizza is a lot. We don't want cash back we just want a gift certificate for the difference. But they won't do it, it's all or nothing. The employees are a little rude and I'm guessing its because they are understaffed. There is usually only one person at the front and handling phones, and one person making pizza. As much as we love Round Table and this is just down the street from us, we'll probably just go to the one in Huntington Beach from now on. read more

Came here with the boyfriend for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. It's a $6 all you can eat lunch special. I expected it to be much darker and gloomier but it was bright and welcoming. Its usually difficult for me to give a bad review, but in this case, its necessary. Like other reviews, it is very true that this place does not like to deliver. I have called on more than one occasion and was told they have a cutoff time for delivery. The odd part is, that time has varied so much that its not believable. The service is truly sad to a point that it feels depressing. Workers are unable to deliver even mediocre service. Examples of this can be found over the phone, in person and so forth. It is difficult for the employees to say may I, please and thank you. Instead, these words are replaced by what do you want, ok, and card or cash. Sighs constant conversation interruptions and lack of active listening are plentiful. I really can go on for a long time over this, but I feel that I've already spent too much time over this company already. Just know that this place is the model of a poorly run team. Do not expect much, maybe that will help... One last thing, I did file a complaint once a few years ago. What I got was their manager who clearly did not take the complaint seriously. The setting: A warm room full of hungry annoyed people. Dirty un-bussed tables. A promise of a "Lunch Buffet". Now, also picture an unapologetic manager not really hustling to get any sort of food out. No lettuce at the salad bar, but worst of all no PIZZA in sight. Hopefully this was a one time thing, and that they were just horribly unprepared for a rush 15-20 people. The pizza came out one at a time and was pounced upon by all leaving nothing in the matter of a minute. The manager had to be told a few times that the salad bar needed attention. Came to this place for dinner with my husband while we waited for our oil change to be done and we had great service! Ray who seem to be someone like Manager or maybe franchisee was super awesome. He answered all our questions and went above and beyond. He came and asked us of we needed anything multiple times and even brought us water with ice without us asking because he seen me drinking from my water bottle and my husband had a beer. The reason I give this place 3 stars is not for the the food quality, but rather for the service and the atmosphere. First of all, the pizza is Fantastic! The salad bar is good, the bread sticks are good, the hot wings are OK except they are not really "hot". It is a little on the pricey side as far a pizza places go, but if you get a good special or use a coupon you can do OK. My biggest complaint about this place is a couple of the employees. There is one employee who really hates her job, if you know what I mean. Basically, you get the feeling that she would rather not even take your order. It pretty bad. That's the worst one. Two other employees are a bit better than that, but its like they can't smile. There are a couple of really nice employees working there. But one of them is a delivery driver, so you won't get good service from him if you eat in, and the other nice employee is only part time... So, most of the time you are stuck with a staff who makes you feel like you are really not welcome at all, even when you are repeatedly the only people eating there... Maybe that's the way they like it. That way they have less work. Anyways, if your looking for some decent pizza and you don't mind feeling like your burdening the staff because they don't even want customers, then go here. You'll like it just fine :) read more
