I hadn't been to Round Table in a long while, so I was Dismayed that they STILL had the Old Tables that are Fixed & Odd Shaped, where Only a Child could Fit in! There's a Table in the back that Only has 2 Leg's (it Needs 3), but it's a Big Triangle & if you Lean on Any of the Ends it wants to Tip Over! There's a lot of Wood Trim around the Booths & Salad Bar and when you Touch it, it's Sticky it's so GROSS!!! DO SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE I'm so tired of our pizza never looking like somewhat remotely look like what they advertise considering what they charge and the poor lack of service. My pizza was burnt and they are so skimpy with veggies on a combination pizza. The girl that always makes my pizza has black hair extremely skinny Caucasian, she ALWAYS has the most terrible attitude on the phone and in person. Good for the price you pay for the lunch buffet. All you can eat pizza, twist, and salad bar for 8 bucks but you still have to buy drinks on the side. That is not a good deal and minus a star. Salad bar is very good with a good selection of greens and other things. Pizza is good but nothing new. Pepperoni, combination, chicken with pineapple, which was not good, and other selections. I have been coming to this round table on and off since I was a child. Over the years I am sorry to see the steady decline of this pizza place. Every time we eat here now there is always an issue. Missing pizzas, cold pizza, slow as heck, and old bathrooms that need to be upgraded desperately. This is my last trip here. I'm no longer coming to this Oakdale staple. read more

I go to round table very often the food is always amazing. Every time I go the staff is always so friendly and talkative. I always get my food on time. I never have to wait a long period time. Horrible. Called for delivery. Was hung up on. Called back, they said we were disconnected. Ordered again and gave credit card info. As soon as I gave them info, was "disconnected" again. I thought, well they have my number they will call me back if something wasn't correct on order. After an hour and a half on a Friday night, I called to make sure order was on its way. I happen to get there 15 minutes early and they told me because I ordered it on line it wouldn't be ready until the time I designated. So I asked them to cancel my online order and then let me reorder. They told me it still wouldn't be ready until my order time. What a joke. I love the pizza but hate the service. Update: When we were leaving the restaurant, I talked to the manager, and he said that they do flip the salad bar twice a day, but personally I just think it should be done while you are changing it over, as it leaves a bad perception to the customers who are paying attention to that sort of thing. I still would not return to this location. The one in Riverbank is so nice & clean compared to this one... Lost my appetite! Food handling is very important, and there is nothing worse than being too lazy to flip containers. I am sitting here watching who I assume to be the MANAGER fill all the salad bar containers by putting new product on top of the old. For one she did this on the dining room floor, and for 2, think how long the stuff on the bottom sits there, while new stuff is poured on top. She didn't change the containers, serving spoons, anything. There are only about 10 people here, so there is absolutely no excuse. We've been here for over a half hour, the same pizza has been sitting here since we got here, and they have only brought out 2 new pizzas. If this is how they handle food right in front of customers, imagine what they do in the back! read more

We have only eaten here a couple of times, but the pizza and the customer service have been excellent. Alissa, the girl working behind the counter, really made a lasting impression on us. She was extremely nice, professional, and made us feel like our business was important to her. She has taken our order both times that we have eaten here, and she has been very friendly, both on the phone, and in person. Last time that we went in to pick up our pizza, there was a very unhappy customer who was upset that we were getting our pizza before she got her's. Alissa remained very professional, as she took the time to explain the reason to the unhappy customer. Apparently, this woman thought that she should get her pizza first because she had been waiting longer. She didn't understand the concept of someone calling in their order, and having it ready when they get there to pick it up. Lol... Some people. Anyway, Alissa was calm and polite, even when this woman was unloading on her. I have a lot of respect for someone who is able to defuse a conflict, even when it's clearly not her fault. Pizza has been great. Our orders have been correct, the pizza has been hot, and our orders have been ready in less than 30 minutes. Nice work Round Table!! The pizza was still very warm, but not fresh. The pizzas that were there were good. They had more than just pepperoni and cheese for the kids. When I came back for more food, there were still the same pizzas. What remained was consolidated into fewer pizza pans. But they did put out some fresh breadsticks. I wanted something blazing hot out of the oven, with a crispy crust. I figured that if I waited long enough, they would bring out some fresh pizzas. This is our favorite place to eat in Oakdale! Pros: They are always SO accommodating to our rather large, young family. We have a favorite pizza that they throw in the oven when we get there and request it for the buffet! It is the pineapple chicken bacon on white sauce...YUM!!!! They will also cook up some zucchini for my baby! Talk about going the extra mile! They have a great salad bar, lots of choices. I ordered online wanting a delivery, I put In the comments that was paying with a 100 dollar bill. The driver comes to my house says he can't accept it. I call the store to speak to the manager to resolve the issue not mad at all being totally chill but when I asked for the manager the worker informed me a manager wasn't on shift... in my head I'm like how do you not have a manager working but that tells me all I need to know about this place. To top it off the person I did talk to said that someone should've read your comment about the hundred dollars and called you saying we can't accept it well thanks I waited over a hour for my food and what do you know I still have no food or an apology at the very least. I've gone to round table here in Oakdale for YEARS, my experience today was awful, I have never been spoken to or treated in such a demeaning and disrespectful way. I had ordered four pizzas 1.large 3. Smalls all of which came with no sauce on them I had them delivered so I called it in ans told them what was wrong, first thing the girl does when I tell her is laugh at me, then told me to bring my pizzas back and they would check and make sure I was telling the truth then they would replace them, when I got there she was laughing took my pizzas came back told me their was sauce and I asked her to bring the pizzas and show me where the sauce is again she refused another worker comes out tells me it was because they were "gluten free" pizzas (I didn't order gluten free) so I told them that wasn't my order then my grandma was polite and asked why they couldn't just get the manager the worked proceeded to tell her to shut up and let him talk. The girl was still laughing at us at this point. Another worker came out said he was the (acting manager) because their manager never comes in and he told me they couldn't replace the pizza ans couldn't give me my pizza back and he couldn't do anything about it and didn't even want to refund me. Ill be honest. My family and I normally buy the cheapy $5 pizza to get our pizza fix. Roundtable is pricy but is completely worth the splurge. we recently had a somewhat bad experience. We ordered for delivery and an hr and half later our pizza was still not delivered. We called them and ask what had a happened. The manager informed us that the newly trained staff member forgot to write down our phone number and the delivery guy couldn't get in our gate (not knowing how to call the gate). The manager told us that they would remake our $50 order and we went to pick it up. When we got our food the manager told my husband if you promise youll come back this whole order is FREE! Here's the deal, the manager here is awesome and the pizza is the best in Oakdale- but not the cheapest. So here's what you do.... get the $7 off extra large coupon from the mailer, call up an xl smokehouse combo (pan style), for pick-up. Show up 5min early to get your pie right out of the oven. This town takes roughly 10 minutes to drive across and an hour to walk across. Pretty ridiculous. Ordered with Original crust, received with thin crust, ordered with bread sticks and three pizza dipping sauces, received two ranch sauces. This is time and again.
