The Topeka Toy Store (Lawrence too) is large and open with a second floor full of toys, books, and activities. I do an opinion writing project with my 5th grade class every year about entomophagy (eating insects) and I rely on the Toy Store for the boxes of flavored crickets and larvae I offer to the brave kids who choose to try them. We've been coming here for a long time and my 16 year old and 2.5 year old still find fun things they want at every visit. We love the Toy Store! If you're looking to support local business and don't mind spending a bit more to do so, you have to check this place out. There's something for everyone.

We found a dress but definitely no decent sz 0 pants, shorts or tops. Her friend that is a different sz didn't find anything either.
