Thankfully Dr. Davis is a professional who respects bodily autonomy. I am terrified of needles, and the amazing nurses and care team at Woman's made my experience one of the smoothest I've ever had. The technicians were kind, explained everything to me, and made sure I felt cared for. I am almost a week post-op and even though I am generally very sensitive and my health is poor, I am recovering unusually fast and have very little pain. I can only think to attribute this to the expertise of the surgeon. When I do have pain, I don't feel like I need to ration my medication, because they gave me all that I needed and didn't skimp. My only issue was that I need valium or xanax for anxiety and I was told I couldn't take it before the procedure due to consent forms. I learned that other patients were allowed to take theirs and it just depends on who the doctor and hospital staff are that I speak to before my surgery. Anxiety medicine doesn't nullify contracts or affect the outcome of pregnancy tests, so there is no reason I had to wait all morning without it until right before my procedure. Other than this issue, I had a very positive experience overall.

The clinic isn't open on Monday's (but the phone staff won't tell you this). It's likely the nurse won't call you back for three days. Then, you will wait another two days for an appointment. 5 days makes for a long wait when you have an infection. Ended up with fever from waiting so long...Asked for a doctors excuse then was judged. One time they called me....but they had the wrong chart open and were actually calling someone else. The doctors and staff are burnt out. Dr. Dang was very annoyed when I had many questions about birth control.

I had not been to see Dr Michael Schexnayder since 2012. I recently made an appointment to get a…read morepap test. I arrived one hour before my appointment and went to the mammogram center. The receptionist i encountered was an angel. She told me I did not need an appointment, I filled out the forms and had my mammogram done in a total of 27 minutes! Everyone who helped me was upbeat, sweet and showed me such interest in helping me accomplish my mission. My primary care doctor had begged me for years to get a mammogram, but I could never get an appointment so that my husbsnd could drive me. I am disabled in such a way that I need a walker to get around and I have trouble driving when my right knee goes out. After my mammogram we went up to Dr. Schexnayder's office where I met Raven, his adorably sweet receptionist. I filled out the forms and the nurse Danielle (spelling??) who prepared me for my checkup was funny, sweet and her personality made me want to know her more. My whole expetience with Dr. Schexnayder was pleasant snd informing. I felt totally at ease I did make a suggestion that they put happy face buttons on the examining room ceilings to give us women something to look at. Thank you everyone, I promise I will be back every year from now on and I pray God blesses all of your lives as you blessed mine that day!

They respected her condition and took it into consideration when scheduling her appointment. She was very unsteady when walking and getting onto the examination table. The doctor helped in that regard and helped to re-dress her. They all went above and beyond! They also just gained a new patient because I was so impressed with our visit today. You can get your labs , ultrasounds, mammograms , etc all done in this building so it makes it a lot cheaper . My insurance usually pays for everything that's done in the same building. It's pretty simple to get a appointment that's not to far off . If she can't see you usually one of the nurse practioners can. I've never had a problem getting her to call in medicine to my pharmacy or run tests that I want. I definitely recommend her so if you are looking for a gynecologist or an obstetrician then check her out .

She has already helped me find the root cause of many of the problems I have been experiencing. She ordered several lab test that my PCP and others providers have never thought to order. Before seeing her, I was eating a strict organic vegetarian diet but losing very little weight. After seeing Dr. Buchert, she has diagnosed me with insulin resistance and Hashimoto's disease, hormonal imbalances, and several vitamin and nutrient deficiencies. Kathy Guidry is a terrible doctor. I went into the assessment center because I was bleeding…read moreexcessively and uncontrollably. I was in a lot of pain and It brought tears to my eyes. I waited there for hours. Got there at around 10 that morning and didn't see her til almost 4. Then all she did was look down there, she may have done a culture but I don't think she did. And that was it. She then sent me home and on my way with pills that would "slow" the bleeding. Which it did but the pain did not stop. I have PCOS. Which is in my file. She should have done an ultrasound to check for cysts but she didn't. She didn't really do anything. She didn't press on my stomach or anything to check for cysts. And then when I asked for an excuse for work for the next day she wouldn't give it to me. Because she "saw no reason I would need it." So my excessive bleeding and extreme pain that brought tears to my eyes wasn't a good enough reason. I did not want a repeat of that days events. I didn't want to bleed all Over the place again. It's embarrassing. Then I told her nurse I was going to move to another doctor since Guidry didn't see fit to do all she should for me. And then that bitch got me banned from the whole clinic (the practice is private apparently she can do that). What a heartless person. She didn't help me and then because I wanted to find someone who would she got me banned. She has no bedside manner and she is not a good doctor.
