PT felt impersonal & I waited around a lot...a billing nightmare followed, which I'm still trying to straighten out. Never again!

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but Dr. Kimberly Wilkie absolutely deserves one…read more She went above and beyond in treating my 7-year-old daughter's toe, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. From the moment we met her, she was incredibly patient, kind, and compassionate. She took the time to make my daughter feel comfortable, explained everything in a way that put both of us at ease, and used techniques that made what could have been a scary experience much easier for a young child. Dr. Wilkie's skill, professionalism, and genuine care for her patients are truly exceptional. It's clear that she loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction. As a parent, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is in such capable and caring hands. If you're looking for a foot and ankle specialist for yourself or your child, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kimberly Wilkie. She is an outstanding physician and an incredible person. We are so grateful for the care she provided, and I cannot thank her enough. Also the staff were beyond amazing too!

First I would like to start by saying I have been in this office for sometime. The telephone manner…read moreof most of the ladies that answer the phone can be very rude to say the least. And they'll put you on hold forever. Are you under staffed? The wait time on hold is unreal. It's my understanding that there's new owners here and the service is getting really bad. I've had two new doctors within a year. My original doctor resigned before the two new doctors. My latest Dr. Andoh I saw I believe in September 2025 or around that time. I asked her for a script to get my yearly diabetic shoes. She informed me that I didn't need a script. Prior I know I always needed a script but I took her at her word. Knowing she was the doctor and maybe things changed. Well I called the shoe person and they informed me that I needed a script. They said Dr. Andoh gave me bad info. I called Foot and ankle back for the script and Joann informed me she would send Dr. Andoh a message to fax same to the shoe specialist. The doctor nor the office sent the info to the shoe specialist. After almost a week. I called Dr. Andoh back and was put on hold for sometime. Now after all this she's refusing to give me a script for the shoes because I haven't seen her since September???? Reminder she told me I didn't need a script in September. I did have an appointment with her in December but she was out sick. I don't know her illness and really don't want to know. But the last time my doctor was out sick with COVID and my new appointment was a week after he returned and I caught COVID. I wasn't going to catch anything from her, so I was waiting for awhile. This office seems to be trying to over bill patients. Why do I need to see the foot doctor every two or three months when I have no serious issues. I have no issues. BEAWARE . What could improve is better training for the doctor and staffing that answers the phone.

I've been to many physical therapists in my long life, mostly as a result of athletic injuries or…read moremishaps with heavy power equipment. So I knew they work on joints, ligaments and tendons. But what I didn't know is that they can cure--not ameliorate-but really cure a serious form of dizziness, called, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). "Benign" means the disorder is not life-threatening (tell that to someone throwing up because of feeling of the room spinning). "Paroxysmal' means it comes in sudden brief spells. "Positional" means the vertigo (sensation of room spinning fast and uncontrollably) comes when your head is in a certain position. Often the first episode you get is when you wake up in the morning. Seems to happen more frequently with older people. The room-spinning is not the same as what you get when you get drunk. Way worse. Plus, unlike getting hung over, you can have these episodes every day for months on end. Occasionally they resolve on their own. The inner ear plays a major role in maintaining our balance. It has three tiny semi-circular canals or tubes, (horizontal, anterior, and posterior) corresponding to the motions of a ship or airplane (turning, tilting and yaw). Inside the canals are some fine calcium deposits the position of which nerves can detect. Sometimes some of the fine deposits leave the main deposit and get lodged where they are not supposed to be, at the other end of the canal. Your brain gets confused and your eyes literally are twitching back and forth during the episode. Kinda cool to look at someone's eyes when they're wobbling like this. It doesn't last all that long. But I wouldn't dare drive a car, because you can't tell when the vertigo is going to come on. Once the vertigo starts, you can hardly see. Even walking around is dicey. You just have to stop and wait, and look around for a bucket. My local ER gave me an anti-histamine, which did nothing. But what they also did (after ruling out other causes) was to refer me to Willow Grove Physical Therapy, which cured me in two days. BPPV treatment is a specialty of Willow Grove PT. Treatment consists of no drugs. Just some controlled head movements. Doctor of Physical Therapy Jackie Pedersen accurately diagnosed the details of my situation. My problem was not the typical one, which would involve the horizontal canal. No, I had to have the anterior. Tougher to cure. I won't say the procedures, one on a Thursday and the second the next day, were a walk in the park. But you do what you have to do, and Jackie was more empathic and kindly than most of the PTs I've had. But on the Friday afternoon, I was done--really done--with BPPV. I went for a follow-up a week later, checking for gait, balance and so on, and I was completely out of the woods. That was three months ago, and I am still free of it. I never have had to use the exercises Jackie provided in the event of a relapse. I have no connection with Willow Grove Physical Therapy, and I have had no contact with with Dr. Jackie Pederson other than as a grateful patient who had this disorder. I should add that not all vertigo is caused by BPPV and that vertigo caused by other disorders can be much harder to treat. I got lucky--BPPV as my condition, not something worse, a fine ER that diagnosed the condition accurately and promptly and made a correct referral to a PT clinic that specializes in BPPV, and an outstanding, well-trained and empathic therapist. My hope is that if you, the reader, should ever have BPPB, you will be spared the months of misery caused by a failure to diagnose accurately and a failure to treat effectively, as a result of reading this review.

I don't think twice before making an appointment for a Veda treatment. It is the only thing that gets me back to normal balance. WGPT treats you like family. So I was back!:'( I should've written this review sooner…read morebecause I'm afraid I'll be leaving out some important details now but here's the summary : THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST STAFF IMAGINABLE ! Whoever does the hiring must hand pick only the nicest people. I entered the ER to a full house. I was having chest pains that lasted days & were too strong to ignore given my past health issues & family history. Immediately I was taken back thru triage & the gentleman that started checking my vitals told me I get bonus points for coming in with those symptoms. I was very nervous & crying so him saying that gave me instant comfort. This review could go on for days as my time spent there was very busy - they thoroughly checked me for ANY possible heart problem. Although I told them in recent days the stress I had been under & was convinced that's what it was, they assured me they would never write off chest pains as anxiety & must check my heart for any possible problems. & check they did! Monitors, tests, blood work, EKG's, ECG's,.. They really put my mind at ease that I wasn't dying like I thought I was when decided to go in. Ok so they're a hospital , they checked me, did their jobs & made me better,...that's not what makes them the best hospital ever IMO. What is to me is the fact that EVERY interaction from the time I walked in until the time I was discharged was PLEASANT. Not once did I feel like just another patient, even tho the hospital was filled to capacity with a rotating door of never ending patients coming & going. Even nurses or workers that would see me, whether they were assigned to my case or not would smile & offer to help in any way they could. I don't know how one could ever describe a hospital stay as pleasant but it was. The nurses & doctors & all staff members here seem to go above & beyond & CARE about you as a person , not just another patient. I had so many interactions , it's hard to remember them all but I'm going to name some names of those Wonderful souls who took such great care of me while being so NICE!: I felt like they were friends! Lol;) Maria- ER JOE , RN the ER Nurse - incredible guy with a heart of gold couldn't do enough for me. Interacted with my husband, my kids & myself & checked on us constantly keeping us informed the entire time I was waiting to be taken to a room upstairs. -HOURSSS... the place was full . I was on the 2nd floor W bldg Kathy - nurse Melissa - nurse Amy - did my pictures for the stress test Cecilia- performed the stress test along with an older Dr. L so sweet! Lori- transported me to tests Linda - Nurse Kate - asst nurse I'm sure I'm forgetting some of the other lovely folks that helped me but the ones I listed really stand out. I spoke with a couple nice drs as well unfortunately aside from dr Singh who discharged me I don't remember their names. I was too overwhelmed. I would NEVER want to be admitted to another hospital. I've had plenty of hospital interactions in my lifetime for myself as well as caring for family members -this place sticks out. The caring & kindness shown is beyond measure! AMH - Keep up the good work, angels! Thank you!

This is going to be short. It's going to be short because they took down my last in depth post…read morebecause maybe they were scared they violated the law. Anyway , look at the reviews and if you believe in truth in numbers, stay away from this uncaring hospital with disgruntled nurses and employees. I was contacted by their HR about my situation and they had my review removed somehow. And if this is removed, I will review again and again and again.
