I agree with the other reviewer that experienced overbilling. If you get care here you will NEED TO CHECK THE CPT CODES. They have billed me using an incorrect code (e.g. for a 45-min "complex" follow up visit when it was really a 10-min check-up), and twice tried to double bill for something that was already included in another code. The doctors are good, the surgeons are skilled, you'll get good care, etc. But the billing office will fleece you if you don't thoroughly check every bill you get. read more

You have a choice when it comes to where you go for emergency services. An ER where you could sit for hours. An urgent care where they will just bandage you up and shove you off with some pills. Go to your primary care go through all the hurdles and get to a specialist, or if it's orthopedically related... Rothman, is the place to go. Obviously when you're talking about insurance, there may be some loopholes but if you can go to Rothman. Arthritis in my knee had me completely unable to walk. When it got to where I could no longer take it my eye Doctor of all people suggested I go to Rothman. Rothman has their own urgent care with a referral I was able to go. I waited no longer than 10 to 20 minutes - given an x-ray immediately and saw an orthopedic PA. He gave me a Cortizone shot, a knee brace and an appointment to come back in two weeks. Two weeks later, I saw Megan at the Willow Grove location, who immediately wanted to investigate further. The pain she noticed seemed far worse than arthritis so she ordered the corresponding tests. After exploring all my options, she recommended gel knee shots. A series of three for those that Cortizone doesn't work. With the therapeutic exercises she gave me and the shots. I am no longer in need of wearing my brace. And my arthritis pain is managed. Quality care, concerned, involved, medical staff, friendly support staff, and efficient office staff - I have yet to encounter an organization in the medical field that works as smoothly as what I have witnessed at Rothman. read more

Dr. Ryan Judy at Rothman is an excellent surgeon. My husband recently fell and broke his femor. Dr. Judy performed his emergency surgery at Abington Hospital. The surgery was successful with no complications. Following Rehab at Artman, my husband is now able to walk well on that leg. In addition to being a skilled surgeon, Dr. Judy is kind and compassionate. He listens to his patients and addresses their concerns. Our experience with the office staff was also very good. Everyone we encountered was courteous and efficient. For all these reasons, I highly recommend Dr. Ryan Judy at Rothman. read more

Beware they're truly into over billing. Went to the Willow Grove office this year and last year. I recommended it to a friend of mine and she received the same treatment as I and we have the same exact insurance. I let her know how much my co-pays were. After her appointment she called to let me know that she didn't pay half the amount that I did. I called Rothman and talked to several different people and learned that I had a credit of over $260 from last year 2024 and they never informed me of that. If it hadn't been for my friend I would have never learned about the over billing. They even started over billing me again in March of 2025. They told me it would take over six weeks to get the refund from 2024. After the rep checked with the supervisor I finally got my refund from last year. I asked about the refund from my over charge this year 3 treatments in March2025. Each rep kept telling me to call back next month . The payment wasn't in the computer. It looks like they put the wrong cpt codes on the billing per one of their prior reps. I called Rothman today and talked to Diane who was a little abrupt making all kind of excuses. To make a long story short they have been over paid by $46.28. Diane confirmed my address and advised me that I may get the payment in 4-6 weeks. I trusted Rothman so when their financial person told me my co-pays I paid them. BEAWARE OF THE CO-PAYs!!!!!! Please stop over billing. read more

They lied to me and told me it would be $80 total for my visit and then they tried to bill me for almost $400. Claiming there was a $320 and some dollar administration fee. They couldn't explain to me exactly what it was for and my insurance declined it saying it wasn't medically necessary so I asked why I'm required to pay something. They can't even tell me what it is, but they're telling me I have to pay it or I can't be seen anymore so I guess I'll be looking for a new doctor. read more

I have had some very helpful treatment for arthritis in my knees in the past from Rothman. But I had a very negative experience recently. I had severe pain in my shoulder and I was hoping to get some treatment to alleviate that pain. I called on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 1:52. I would have loved to get treatment that day but I was fortunate to get an appointment for the next day at 2. The rep emphasized that I should arrive at 1:45. As instructed, I arrived on Friday at 1:45 only to find out that I did not have an appointment. The appointment had actually been set for the previous day at 2 and I had missed it. Obviously, if I had known this I would have had to leave immediately when I called and still would have been late. So I received no treatment. The most distressing aspect of this was that the woman at the front desk had absolutely no concern other than to blame me for missing the appointment. So the conclusion is you might get some helpful treatment at Rothman but be prepared to jump on the assembly line, hope there are no mistakes, and don't expect compassion or concern. read more

My retired husband was at the Willow Grove location to see the hand specialist. He has been there before so they have a file on him. He said the front desk receptionist was very rude. He was having trouble with the check in computerized process. He asked twice if she could assist him and she flatly refused. We are out of the area, and came down to Rothman for better care. I first had hip surgery in January 2024. At first the care was fine, but after surgery it was like you were just a number. Now its about one year later and I start having pain. I call and they say to get an X-ray here. I do and the hip is dislocated (for the third time) They call me and say go to the ER and have them pop it back in and they will go from there. Never heard another word from Rothman! they could of cared less about me and this terrible issue! You put your trust and thousands of dollars into these doctors!! So frustrated!! read more

My experience at this facility is positive. My doctors name Thomas Green. I also had surgery this past Aug 12,2019. Surgery- rotator cuff tear, bone decompression and torn labrum. Yes, the surgery good, recovery is very long. I can only say positive stuff about Emily, Dr Thomas Green, nurse. When I call, leave a message, need refills or any problems she always responds. Recovery is rough, I had a lot done to my shoulder. Physical Therapy is hard and painful , need to work hard. 3 months this week. And will be going back to work 1/2 day for now. I switched from another practice because they were unresponsive. I saw Dr Rosario, not sure of the spelling. He was ok. I have terrible pain, his assessment was to see a surgeon. Unfortunately he couldn't recommend 1, but I've used someone in the past. I need an MRI but I can't lie down. Tried 2x, 2nd with meds prescribed by the Dr. I wanted to discuss options with Dr. I had a contact, Susan, who was very helpful. She called them (left msgs) Mon & Tues. I called them Wed. It's now Friday & I haven't heard from them. This is outrageous. After reading all the similarly terrible reviews for this business I realized I made a mistake entrusting them. read more

This is by far the most frustrating office I have ever been to (3 times). There are no clear directions as to which of their machines to use for what. I think (after 3 visits) there are old patient or walk in machines but there is also supposedly a paperwork machine if you just need to pick up something. There are no directions any where (wish I took photos) and heaven help you if you use the wrong machine, staff (who I feel sorry for) can only focus on the one thing in front of them and not direct you to the proper machine. The place is noisy and chaotic and not condusive to healing. This does not have be like this. Get some help and fix it. read more

My daughter injured her foot playing soccer. I took her to Rothman Urgent Care the next day. They were nothing short of wonderful. They took her back for x-rays a short of time after arriving. Then, she met the MA who was so friendly and caring. Afterwards, she met the PA who took her time to evaluate my daughter's injury. They brought us over to physical therapy, who fitted her for crutches and taught her how to use them. Then, she moved on and was fitted for her boot. We were scheduled for her follow up appointment with a Rothman podiatrist before we left. Every single person we met was so kind and caring. I highly recommend them for injury care. read more

Not happy with the regular podiatrist there I feel that it was quick and not thorough and I've never heard of a podiatrist that does not do toes . If they don't do toes it should have been written and their description of what they do it was a waste for me to be told I don't do toes and then to have identification of a torn tendon and then quickly be advised to go to get fitted for a boot. And they were very quick in there too. I have loved the knee doc and hand doc there disappointed in the podiatry care there have changed and moved on. The office staff was kind and nice and always helpful. Didn't like response when I felt like I wasn't fitted right for the boot when they just said well you just have to use crutches then didn't even give me any advice or say come back in and we'll see what we could do to help you know I've been in a boot before they can give you some advice how to help it but they didn't want to take the time. read more

Like others have said, this is a machine churning out patients. I spent more time getting an x-ray than seeing the dr. The dr. was in the room for about three minutes and that is only because I tried to ask specific questions. The dr. wasn't having it. No diagonisis was given and told me an MRI was needed and he wouldnt suggest treatment until that was done. The only plus side was that the desk staff, x-ray techs, and nurse were very friendly. Also, no one ever called to schedule an MRI. Since then I have seen a PT and Accupunturist and both were able to diagonis my problem within minutes and provide a clear pathway for rehab. read more

2400 Maryland Rd Suite 20, Willow Grove, PA 19090 Physician Assistant Dr. Brin told my 75yr old father "she will only address one body part per visit". My father came in to address swelling in both knees, this doctor stated "she can only assess one body part a visit, he'd have to return to have the other knee assessed". My father is in excruciating pain, due to arthritis and minimal cartilage of the knees. He was prescribed an oral steroid and advised to follow-up with his primary orthopedic doctor. Pissed to hear my father was told, "ONE BODY PART PER VISIT". I called the office requesting to speak to this Physician Assistant Dr. Brin, and was provided a representative (Ms. Lee Ann) of Dr. Brin to determine the concern. I wanted to know if this 'limit of one body part' was a healthcare regulation, is this a healthcare law, is this the Rothmans policy of a limit of one body part per visit, is this legal? How would you feel if your father/loved one needed both knees to be examined and only told "ONE BODY PART PER VISIT". Ms. Lee Ann stated, " that's not a regulation, that is the physician assistants request because the Rothman urgent care must limit the amount of body parts assessed due to the high volume of patients". ARE YOU SERIOUS!! My father doesn't like confrontation, and he definitely does not like pain, he was in serious pain, he just wanted answers for both his knees and he was content and happy a doctor could assess him today. I am disappointed and angry with this Physicians Assistant Dr. Brin, whom I never met because I wasn't there, because she has made it very clear the patients are a number and not human beings. Here's some advice for this place, let them know how many body parts you would like for them to assess before making the appointment, so you will not arrive expecting to be seen for all your ailments. Seen by Dr. Fuchs for foot/ankle injury at Rothman. Although the Doctor had a pleasant bedside manner, I felt he did not take the time to do a thorough exam of my foot/ankle and appeared quite dismissive of my concerns. I left without a clear plan of care, other than he suggesting that I "return if its still bothering you". Will be getting second opinion elsewhere, as I believe being weightbearing has significantly exacerbated the issue and there are new tears as result of no clear care plan for injured foot. I made an appointment for 9:50am, as usual I have arrived 15 minutes early, signed in paid my copay and waited. They took me right in for my xray then back to the waiting room. from this point on I waited 1 hour pass my appointment time, I went up to the front desk and told them I have waited 1 hour pass my appointment they said they were very busy and that there was one more patient before me and would be a little more of a wait. This means I would not have seen the doctor until around 11:30. This would be about 1 hour and 45 minutes past my appointment time, I told them I could not wait any longer I had to go to work. No one ask me if I was in pain or any questions about why I was there. When they ask me to make another appointment I said ok however the next appointment was not available until next month. First of all you wait over 15 to 20 minutes just to make or confirm an appointment. They are booked so far out it took a miracle for an appointment that was not 2 month's out and I had a transverse broken Patella. I was in pain every day since the fall and it was over 6 months and still in pain. I was seen by Dr. Craig who told me that I was to stop physical therapy, join and gym and work with a Personal Trainer. He recommended I see Dr. Goldberg who is a physiatrist who was supposed to help me figure out why I am still in so much pain. I spent $50.00 on nothing I might as well have lit a $50 bill on fire that's how useful he was. Told me I just needed to be assured that everything was ok, a winer and complainer. So much for professionalism. I broker my patella 2/9/2015, and I am still in pain! Thanks so much! read more

Their doctors are great, their billing staff are awful. Paid their bill online once I received the EOB, they changed billing systems and returned the payment 2 months later. The new billing company sent us a bill we paid within 7 days and a month later they sent the bill to collections. Their billing team has not a clue. read more

I have seen two doctors for two different issues. Both were very thorough and provided several treatment options. I also had two MRIs done here. The staff was very sensitive to my slight claustrophobia and even offered to sit with me while it was being done. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. read more

I had a mass on one of my fingers that i needed removed. Dr. Takei was my surgeon. He did a great job- i would recommend him to anyone needing hand surgery. I cannot give 5 stars because of how this facility schedules the surgeries and the wait time. You dont get a surgery time until the day before your scheduled day. Then you dont even get seen at the time you were given. This facility overbooks like crazy so you end up waiting an hour after your appointment time ( which is unacceptable as if you showed up an hour late you wouldn't be seen) this facility should respect their patients time. read more

I wish I had checked Yelp before scheduling my appointment - I would have saved myself a lot of aggravation. When I arrived for my appointment I was met by a rude receptionist who demanded my PCP referral - which I did not have because I was not aware that I needed one. (The scheduling person I had spoken with on the phone two days prior repeated several times that I would need my insurance card and X-Rays but never mentioned a referral.) Doctors are A-1 It is hard sometimes to get an appointment because they are so good! You can get your X-rays, MRI etc right there without having to go someplace else, they also have an office, surgery center and physical therapy in New Britain If someone is rude to you tell someone in the office or the DR don't stay away because of that.
