Wine growing on the isle of wight can be traced back to the Romans and a tour of Rosemarys vineyard will offer up some surprising and insightful little gems of history. The vineyard has a well stocked shop with very very helpful happy staff who bent over backwards to make our visit more enjoyable, even to the extent that one of them gave us a little private tour of the working areas which was a great thrill to our kids. The wines we purchased here were top notch and we would happily recommend this vineyard as a wonderful free day out and it's only just down the road from the garlic farm, another great free attraction. read more
