Definitely in my top three. And the great thing is, they are very reasonable and if you've tossed back a few too many, you can stay the night, literally. They are also a full service hotel. Clean, reasonable, family friendly.. Call ahead for rooms available. Great central location for traveling Europe...or just an extended hike through the Spessart forest.

This Christmas we had a good friend accompany us to my parents, so we put him up here. Although it is located in such a small place, it really has outstanding facilities. The rooms are nicely appointed; there is a wellness center with swimming pool, a large breakfast room, and a great restaurant. It often caters to conventions. The breakfast consists of a large buffet which had a variety of breads, jams, cold cuts, cheeses, fish, and yogurts as well as different styles of eggs. It was even champagne along with other juices. We visited the restaurant one night and I was amazed that the waiter recognized Jack and me from our visit approximately one year ago. I even received a glass of port with my foie gras appetizer. The food is delicious and the service superb. The ambience is a typical rustic elegance.

We went to this restaurant for a family birthday celebration involving elders and adult children…read more The staff were welcoming and efficient. Our vaccine status was checked quickly without fuss. The food was very enjoyable and well seasoned. The portions were quite large requiring take home boxes for some guests. The desserts tasty and beautiful to look at. The elders (94 and 85years old) have eaten here for a lifetime. This was my first visit. And I'll be back!
