We don't experience this very often nowadays and I would give 9 million stars, if I could. I was greeted by a gentleman, as soon as I approached the counter. After less than a minute, he was already on the shop floor explaining about the variety of Androids he had for sale. I was looking for a phone and, being one of those annoying customers who don't understand a thing about those products, I felt so looked after by this incredibly kind man. He was pointing at different phones, prices and highlighting the features of each product. As if this was not already good enough, I mentioned I had an issue with my phone an he said immediately he could have a look at it. After calling VIRGIN 9 times asking for help, I was sure nobody else would be able to sort out the issue. How astonished I was, when he gave me my phone back and everything was up and running. He did (in a matter of minutes), what nobody could do in days. An absolute legend ! I do not know if he is the Manager there, but his name is Jonathan and I am extremely grateful for his assistance and for his fantastic customer service. Such an asset to team !!!! I went to CEX because of a lost phone. I was in need of a quick replacement to get in touch with…read moremy elderly family abroad. I bought a Nokia phone with a Virgin SIM after the clerk told me that it was unlockable at CeX. Thinking that I could unlock the phone with CeX, I went ahead and purchased the phone. Only to find out later that CeX DOES NOT unlock this type of phone. Now I am stuck with a phone that I cannot even use. On top of that, they took the SIM card back so I'm stuck without that as well. I went back for two days in a row to try and fix the situation. Finally, I decided to go to some local phone shops just to get a proper explanation. They were quick to let me know.... I got a a raw deal and that only a fool would buy a phone like that. This has left me emotionally distraught as I can't get in touch with my family. I haven't seen my family in four years and this was my only means of contact. Thank you for everybody who is reading this page. I hope this never happens to you. God bless you all!

I knew I would be spending yet another long and frustrating day at Heathrow airport waiting out Sno-mageddon 2010, so rather than watch as the TV reporters continued to talk about the hell I was simultaneously experiencing, I figured I might as well accomplish a bit of work, which requires the internets. Here's how it went this time: Laura: Hi. I (gulp) need to top up my dongle. Store Man: No problem, that's easy! (Begins transaction) But have you seen our new Pay & Go Mi-Fi? It's actually cheaper than a dongle and up to 5 devices can connect at a time, so if you're traveling or meeting with co-workers you can... Laura: (temporarily stunned by great service and helpful advice momentarily zoned out...) Store Man: ...But I'm happy to just top up your dongle... instead... ? Laura: Um, you have been so helpful. Store Man: Thank you? Laura: I'll take it. You take AMEX, right? Store man: Oh, I am so sorry, we stopped taking AMEX just over a month ago. But, (he whispers), I'll give it a try - I think it will still work. It worked. And the Mi-Fi? It's working beautifully at LHR as I'm waiting out Sno-mageddon 2010. In one more hour it will have paid for itself in hot-spot internet charges.
