I actually didn't go to the dentist for a number of years when I was younger until I realized how important it was to take care of your teeth. So when I did make an appointment, this is a true story by the way, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth brought out a whole tray of instruments. For those of you that have seen Braveheart, that is what it looked like to me. Then she begins to file.......er sharpen her instruments while I'm laying there in the chair! First of all I'm thinking that this should have been done BEFORE I arrived. Second I had a severe feeling of a lamb there for the slaughter. Needless to say that was the last visit to that dentist. We ended up moving and now we have been seeing Dr. Dunlap for the past several years. I am here to say that this is by far and away the best experience I have ever had. I have the same hygienist (Christy) which is nice for familiarity. Christy has worked there for 15 years. There is music to listen to and its not elevator music. They even have TV's in their rooms. Woodbury Family Dentist are very accommodating as they schedule my wife and I at the same time so we can both go at the same time. Dr Dunlap has also been wonderful to work with. A couple of years ago I chipped a tooth. I called and made an appointment to have my tooth looked at. Dr Dunlap used one of those "tools" to smooth out the rough area. My appointment did not take too long and as I got up to go pay she stated that there would be no charge! I was floored by this as I would expect to pay for any service regardless of time. This to me was a great example of how Dr Dunlap and her staff care for their patients. I still don't look forward to going to the dentist however if I am going to go to any dentist, its Dr Dunlap and her staff. I can't tell you how nice it is to have a quality medical professional of any practice to see. I am thankful that we can see Dr Dunlap.

The office is very kid friendly. My two children, 5 and 2 are comfortable in the office and the chair. Dr. Shannon Cunningham is wonderful! The staff is welcoming and kind. The prices are resaonable even without insurance. I am confident referring friends/family to Woodgrove Dental because I know they will have the best experience! I have returned with continued problems and recieved no charge work in attempt to correct their mistake and even had the entire filling taken out and replaced because it was so badly done the first time by Dr. Johnson. Dr. Johnson has messed up 2 of my previous fillings in the past as well. He also worked on me when I indicated I was in a lot of pain and not fully numb, and I informed them of my connective tissue disease causing me to typically require more local anesthetic than people without my disease. He didn't listen to me and it hurt so badly. He was very rude and had terrible bed side manner. I tried to see other dentist there for the correction without any luck. The front desk people and the people who collect payments are also extremely rude, do not know how to politely adress patients, fact check before they speak,!and do not respect patient privacy. They have also several times assured me my insurance will cover a service and pay nothing when I am walking out the door only to recieve a bill in the mail for the same service they claimed was covered. They're predatory. They tried making me schedule a correction for filling they messed up with a new filling only so I would have to pay them instead of fixing the one tooth at no charge like they should have and refused to do so and rescheduled my appointment for the work twice on the singular tooth they messed up, because they would only do it if I paid more to have another one done at the same time. Lastly; they offer you a cookie every time you go which is extremely backwards for a dentist office, wouldn't you want your patients to avoid sugar loaded foods that harm their teeth that you're trying to fix? They're all about money they do not care about their patients.

My first visit there today was the best dental experience I have ever had. Everyone was incredibly nice & welcoming. You & your pearly whites will feel like you are at the pearly gates of dentist heaven. I felt like I was at a spa/design room/modern lounge all in one. It is a beautifully appointed office. You can select your own Pandora channel to listen to & the exam chairs offer a massage option. The wood art on the ceiling is interesting to look at while your teeth are cleaned. Susan at the front desk was lovely. Kind & helpful. Deb, my hygienist was gentle & knowledgeable. She also was caring & had a fun sense of humor. When Dr. Julia came into the room I felt like I was seeing an old friend & meeting a new one at the same time. She is genuine, down to earth, warm & clearly has the chops to take excellent care of your choppers. There was a miscommunication about my insurance and Dr. Julia and her team handled it in such an integrity manner, that it only made me a more loyal patient. I had to pay out of pocket for my visit because my insurance is out of network, however, if they do not accept your insurance I would still recommend you visit Salutè. Your teeth & oral health are an important & worthy investment. I was happy to pay for my exam, x-rays and cleaning out of pocket. It was a great experience and great value.

Everyone was welcoming. There was no shaming or judgement for how long it had been since my last cleaning. The office was comfortable and inviting, the dental cleaning chairs were really comfortable, they even have a gentle massage feature. I am looking forward to my 6 month checkup/cleaning.
