I was maid of honour at my sisters wedding this Saturday 31st August 2013 and I cannot urge you enough to not use this florist, I would have rated no stars if this was an option. I arrive with the Bride to collect her flowers. She had requested large Sunflowers with blue ribbon for her bouquet, an easy simple task, with matching small bouquets an exact replica of the brides for her flower grils (who were 4 year old which had been communicated to the florist), 12 button holes for the men (minature sunflowers) and a head table display. She had attended two planning meetings and had been in the week of the wedding to check all order details were correct. The order was approximately £700. When we arrived we were presented with a bouquet of dead flowers (the sunflowers in my house from tescos were in better shape and I had already had them for ten days!), the bouquet was padded out with cheap wilting carnations and gold ribbons for the bride, it had been dumped in a bowl of water which had wilted and frayed all of the ribbon tied around it? the flower girl bouquets were the same size as the bridesfar too big for a four year old to carry (they said they didnt know they were 4 years old as it wasnt on the handover from the shop owner), they were also dead sunflowers, this time with purple cheap padding flowers and again gold ribbon? After seeing the dead button holes (which had been made the night before and not kept in water, as had all of the wedding order, as confessed by the lady in the shop) and with a Bride in tears, we didnt even see the top table. The customer service was absolutely awful, the man in the shop was agressive in his tone unhelful and refused to speak to us saying there was no point in being annoyed or upset it wasnt going to get us anywhere? The lady said yes they were dead but there was nothing she could do as she didnt have any more flowers?! When we asked if she would use those flowers at her own wedding, her response was no I wouldnt. I cant imagine why she would not think to contact us at 8:30am when they opened to warn us instead of waiting until the lunchtime collection time. I also cannot imagine why they would not think flowers require water overnight being that they are a florist? After running around for an hour with a bride in tears and our hair half finished we found what I can only describe as a dream florist Amie Bone. Despite having three other weddings that morning she took the bride to one side, told her she would make her her dream bouquet, even managed to get a smileand that is exactly what she didall of the wedding flowers, exactly as asked for, within one hour, they arrived to the hotel ten minutes before we left for the Church!..and the price wasn't even anymore than Rosanna's had charged. We ended up with a beautiful wedding, but a ruinned wedding morning by Rosannasmy advice, learn from our catastrophy and do not use this florist. read more
