First experience with this hospital and I am at hour 3 in the waiting room with incredible pain. I'll not be coming back.

Stephanie Martin was awesome, quick and painless visit. Everyone was very sweet and took maybe 20 minutes!

Driving downtown scares her because of the traffic and unfamiliar roads. Everything has changed so much over the years so it looks completely different that when she would go to MUSC before. I don't mind taking her since I lived downtown for much of my 20s and know the area well. When we arrived we decided to do valet parking, which was $10 and well worth not having to deal with it. We were in for her appointment for about 45 minutes. The lobby was comfortable but I noticed people sitting way too close to each other and they weren't together. I found a quiet corner and stayed away from the crowd since I haven't had my Covid vaccine. When she came out, we went to get our car and the valet guy said 'did you know it was only going to be a little while? We could have left your car here?' I understand he didn't want to hike to get our car, but it's your job. Anyway, we got the car and headed out. MUSC has done a nice job keeping the hospital neat and clean. The staff is friendly and the care of course is top notch!

During COVID the wait was long and the phones were busy but they never turned me away. I have always gotten my school records in time and same day sick apt. Yes I was billed wrong once but the billing lady fixed it. In 14 years of coming here the doctors have personally called me on off hours to make sure I got medication needed and sent to different pharmacies who had the meds or were closer to me, come to hospital to check on us and been the best.

This is MUSC Children's Hospital's Urgent Care clinic. We had the unfortunate opportunity to visit…read morethis facility this past weekend with our daughter when she came down with a sinus infection, but thanks to the lovely staff here and their friendliness and compassion to us and our daughter the visit wasn't so bad. We arrived about 30 minutes before they opened (not a 24 hour facility) and waited as the staff arrived and went into the building. We were actually let in 5 minutes before opening and were the first patients to be seen. The staff at the front desk quickly checked us in and in no time we were carried back to the exam room. Our daughter's vitals were checked, we answered a few questions for the nurse, and then after a (very) short wait the doctor came into to check on our daughter; quickly diagnosing the sinus infection and calling our prescription in to a pharmacy down the street. The only downside I saw to this clinic was it is not open 24 hours day. But it is in a convenient location and with being an urgent care it's a lot lighter on the checkbook than the ER.

Most of the walk in places don't have pediatric doctors on call. This one only has pediatricians. After registering, we waited maybe 2 minutes for a nurse to take us back, assess the problem, and take us to an exam room. The doctor came in maybe 3-5 minutes later. Lucky for us, it was not busy, there was only one child ahead of mine, and one after. The whole place was clean, bright, and the people friendly, welcoming and helpful. I was thoroughly impressed with our experience tonight. Another plus was that I didn't even have to take a day off work. I have never left a doctor's office and said aloud, " wow, that was actually enjoyable," before tonight. The only minus I can foresee is that the same doctor is not always on call so you do not build a rapport with one doctor. Overall, good job MUSC Children's After Hours!
