I'm giving one star because I know it's summer and there's only so much you can do. But here's why I am giving this review ( & I never do bad reviews) - when we first drove in, everything is dead (grass, dog area) everything. I get water is scarce but a little would be nice for animals. -weeds with stickers in them everywhere (hence again that it's not ideal for pets) -no one was there to check us in, just a piece of paper with our name and site. The door is locked so if you needed help with anything, no one is there. - the sewer connection didn't have a top on it so there's flies everywhere down the sewer line. I could see others just had rocks set on top. -any shaded spot is taken up by long term users (I mean I get it but seriously...) - the picnic table is broken None of this helps with the fact that this place is in the middle of nowhere, so your closest stores are at least 30-40 mins away. I understand that for the price point it comes at, you have to give and take with quality. But let's just say we left a day early to go a few hours to the next spot.

While it is near the road, there are spots that are in the back, and it is very quiet as it is by the water and walking trails. There is a big, fenced in dog park that is very well maintained, the walking trails connect to a public park, there is a small park on site, laundry facilities, attentive office staff, and while it was quite busy it was actually quiet. Everyone respects everyone's space and keeps dogs leashed, trash picked up, and drive at a decent speed. It was a great experience here!

Our rooms were as our as it was outside when we got in we had to all go but fans for our rooms... but after the Ac's were turned on and we left and came back about 5hrs later the rooms were nice and cold. Thank God I always carry bleach Lysol wipes and Lysol spray with me. But the bad thing was the beds had dead bugs in them and it wasn't bed bugs but still ugh... we had our own sheets and blankets thank God. Idk spray spray spray... don't kill the grasshoppers but all the other bugs the roaches and the other bugs spray for and kill. Take your own blow dryer don't have in rooms, take your own towel you get two very small thin towels, take your own shampoo and conditioners and body stuff. When we go back we will get a Air BnB or something else if we can't find something we would stay here but last resort kind of thing. And it has no breakfast no cokes no ice no nothing on the premises!!! A allsups store right across from it though. You do have a microwave, mini fridge (ours didn't work) coffee pot in your room The owners and front desk help was amazing and friendly and sweet. They did come clean the one room when we asked for a broom. They was sweet. It's nothing fancy but it will work and be ok. It's not the worse that's for sure.

My co-worker and I sat outside yesterday, in great rocking chairs, and watched doves and wildlife going about their business. This place is a "10"! I will be back!
