I had to wait 20 minutes but no big deal since they gave me a cool towel and ice water while sitting on the couch. They did me a favor squeezing me in. Even offered other refreshments. Excellent customer service. They play great music as well in my opinion. I received a haircut from Mark and I'd say it was excellent. Exactly how I wanted. I nearly gave this an overall rating of 4 because of the price. Nearly $50 bucks, HK380. It is Hong Kong though...so I took that into consideration. Will I go here for a haircut next time? Yup.

Pong was my stylist and listened carefully to my direction and executed the cut to perfection. At times the cut was so relaxing and literally feel asleep and Pong caught my head. Thank goodness he was shaving yet. The cut was clean, and so was the entire experience. The shop itself was hip, with 4 other stylist doing their thing. You would think it would be loud but on the contrary it was anything but. There is a restroom and chairs for waiting. DIRECTIONS: Now the place can be difficult to locate so pay attention to one of the narrow hallway from the Main Street. The shop is located in a hole in a wall hallway and in the second floor. I made a same day appointment but call ahead to make sure. They are close on Monday. Pong spoke English and I suppose others do too. I know where and who I am going to have my chair cut next time I visit HK.

I've never booked here, and the longest I've had to wait is about 15 minutes. Great atmosphere - dark wood, black and white photos and bevelled mirrors. Not quite the plush leather and brass of the Mandarin Oriental, but a manly feel all the same. Cutters and stylists are receptive to requests and sufficiently skilful to give you what you want. I lucked out with a GQ magazine at my seat with Daniel Craig on the front - too easy to point at his picture and ask for a cut like James Bond in Spectre! Definitely a haunt for me.
