My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Roosevelts while staying in Jackson Hole Wyoming. While you have many dining options in Jackson, it makes decision making complicated. To us, Roosevelts had a dinner menu that suited us both nicely. Walking in, the decor is so Jackson Midwest, complimenting the surrounding area and making you feel comfortable. I decided on the Bully Pulpit Beef Ragu with Pappardelle pasta. I was undecided until I seen the Pappardelle, which is a go to favorite of mine. I enjoyed the texture of the pasta, sauce I believe had a touch of cream which was unexpected but worked well. My wife got a burger and fries which she devoured then raved about how well she liked Roosevelts. read more

I had the chicken sandwich and the prices are too high for their mediocre quality of food. Also, their customer service is pretty bad. I'm a local and was initially excited about checking out Roosevelts. I had a reservation and a young kind host sat me at a table. I was comfortable where he sat me and a REALLY rude brunette approached me and said "You need to move, this table is for reservations". I informed her of my reservation and that the host sat me there. Her reply, "This table has a reservation, I'M the manager and you need to move". That was the most rude restaurant experience I've ever had . Felt like I was treated as a second class citizen. Definitely will never return here again. I have friends and family that visit my Jackson home 4-5 times per year and have already been recommending not to set foot in Roosevelts. Jackson has so many lovely places to choose from. This restaurant is decorated with pictures of Theodore Rosevelt, and some wood and steel finishes. The staff and waiter were very nice and attentive. The jalapeño popper dip was extremely good and pretty unique. The buffalo chicken pizza was ok, but I would try something else next time. read more

Went for lunch and it was nice. So we decided to go for dinner the next day . Server was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately the restaurant was freezing . The food by the time it reached the table was warm at best. The place was not very tightly . The floor needed a sweeping . So different from lunch. I hate giving a negative review sorry. read more

This is the coolest spot in downtown Jackson. We loved the ambiance and all the decor. Definitely felt new and fresh and enjoyed the Roosevelt facts around the restaurant. Love the decore - all of the pictures of President Roosevelt. We were seated immediately- but then sat for almost 18 minutes before we even were greeted by our server . There were only 5 tables or so with customers . The raviolis with squash was good - but drowning in sauce - and you only got 6 raviolis. My husband has some health issues and has to have a plain /bland diet / but they had no options of bread or even crackers to eat with his soup. read more

Unfortunately, our experience was completely overshadowed by our server, Sydney, who was inattentive and disengaged the entire time. A food runner dropped off our appetizer, and we didn't see Sydney again until after we had nearly finished our entrées. She never checked in, never asked if we needed anything, and only showed up when we were about 3/4 of the way through our meal to ask if everything "came out okay." At that point, it was too late to fix anything even if there had been a problem. Again, the kitchen did an incredible job, but the service was honestly one of the worst I've had in a while. The steak was so good here and the ambience is amazing. We ate upstairs with a view of the city and enjoyed it. The staff was very helpful. Nick was our server and he said he was fairly new but was on top of it. We were from the same area in Southern California and we chopped it up a bit. The Portions were a decent size and the ambiance was chill. They sat us on the balcony, which was nice so we could people watch . It was closing, but they still let us hang out without complaining. We got to go on the balcony and that was the truest treat! It was a gorgeous evening and watching the sun set on Jackson hole while eating delicious food with family is the best! My husband and I shared the mushroom pizza, oh my yummy! The kids got a hamburger and grilled cheese both with fries. I would highly recommend! read more

AMAZING. The ambience of the restaurant is like a nice casual. The teddy roosevelt theme is fun, and there's lots of history, photographs, and themed things in the building. Service was also great and making a reservation was smooth and easy. The best part was the food. They use local beef, and you can really taste the difference. We got the smashburger (so good), tots (fine), truffle fries (so good), and chicken wings for an app (pretty spicy, but good). We came here after doing a long hike and were filled up. We will be coming back every time we're in Jackson. read more

Restaurant had a cool vibe. We ordered pretzel bites to start and they were probably one of the best pretzels we've ever had. For our entrees, we ordered the prime rib sandwich with cowboy caviar and the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. When we finally got our meals, they were just above room temperature. Cold fries are never good. The flavor was really good on all the food, but it was disappointing that our waiter was so busy talking to other waiters near the bar, that he didn't get our food out while it was hot. We gave our credit card to pay, but upon signing, my husband noticed that the waiter accidentally charged an extra $50 when he entered our card info. We pointed out that we were overcharged so he had to go back and correct it. Overall, we would go back because even cold, the food was good, but maybe our waiter was just having an "off" day. read more

What a restaurant Newly opened and the ambiance is relaxed and great. President Rosevelt's historic pictures are phenomenal. We ate the hamburger and BBQ chicken with fries. Great food. The servers were cordial and quick on their feet. It was a great find after a 40 mile bike ride. read more

This place was very disappointing and not recommended. After sitting around for ten minutes with no one coming by the table, a surly Eastern European waiter showed up and didn't seem to understand the concept of friendly American-style service. Or maybe he was just having a bad night. In any case, he was more intimidating than helpful, and the vibe he gave off was mostly one of annoyance. I ordered a steak salad and a side of fries. The fries were delivered to our table almost immediately, but I waited another fifteen minutes for the rest of the food to arrive, by which time my fries were cold. If I had wanted them as an appetizer, that's how I would have asked for them, but oh, well. The tiny steak on my salad was mostly fat and gristle, and the salad was completely covered in a thick layer of cheese. Ok, maybe that's what a Wyoming salad looks like, I get it. My friend's pasta carbonara was pretty disappointing, too, so when the waiter came by to ask how everything was, we weren't very enthusiastic. At this point, the manager came over, and I have to say, he was extremely friendly and apologetic. He offered to get me more steak, which I accepted. We waited for about 15 more minutes, watching rest of the place cleared out, and finally received another small, gristly,fatty steak. No one stopped back by to see how we were after that. We then waited another ten minutes for our check and finally had to ask for it at the bar. If you're looking for terrible service (except for the manager) and disappointing food, this is your place! read more

Got the bison ribs (maybe most expensive entree), which essentially just a bottle of BBQ Sauce over some steamed meat.. my fiancé got the beef ragu which I tried and we both agreed the sauce tasted like liquified goldfish crackers. As a history buff, this place was already exciting to go to, but we enjoyed our food so much, we made an additional reservation for 2 days later, while sitting in the dining room! You can tell the owners really put their heart and soul into this place. Stop searching, you have found your restaurant! Day 1: we ordered the Sagamore Hill Roast Chicken & Goat Cheese Salad with a side of the Truffle fries. SO DELICOUS, one of the best salads you can get! and I will have dreams about those fries. Drinks: Theodore's Old Fashioned and Rocky Mountain Margarita, both Delicious! Day 2: we started with the Hot Springs Jalapeno Popper Dip and ordered the Speak Softly and Carry a Big Steak with another Old Fashioned and the Angler's Fish and Chips with The Yellowstone Campfire for dinner. Went for my mom's birthday and had an unfortunately poor experience. What went well: host was kind, friendly, helpful. Cute place in a good location. What didn't go well: - service: forgot key items in our order (like chicken on salads), brought wrong items, very slow to correct items, and brought back plates with no silverware. - quality of food / drinks: dishes were not well made and poor quality, expensive, and the drink was undrinkable and not remedied (pure syrup) I would not recommend Roosevelts, unfortunately. The salad was a very small portion (it could fit in my hand) it was missing salad components that were described in the menu (corn, onion, cilantro missing!), and gave us the wrong dressing.
