I'm going to stick to the nicer furniture stores in the future because I've had great experiences with those stores but with this Rooms To Go and the manager, Tino, have been nothing but a headache and broken furniture. I really appreciate the "no pressure" approach of the sales team here. They understand that it takes time to decide what kind of furniture you are going to get. It was so nice to have space to talk as a family, but know that our salesperson was nearby if we had a question. Shane greeted me earlier in the week when I was browsing alone. I told him what we I was looking for but let him know that my husband would need to come check out the options too. He shared his schedule and I asked for him when I came in with the family. Finally ordered our boys furniture! We spent a lot of time looking around for the stuff we wanted for our boys rooms. Rooms to go had a nice selection. Yeah it is not highest end but it looks good and our boys liked it. It is good stuff for the price. There is a lot to look at and the people were pleasant. Not pushy and not always hovering. In the end we got two beds and a dresser for a reasonable price. The issue was actually getting the stuff. It took weeks to get it all... what a mess covid has made everything! But it is here finally, the stuff looks good, delivery went well... accept the dresser is damaged and they are getting us a new one... life! read more

Let me start by saying my shopping experience was great overall I've had my couch for about five months and I'm already having issues with it. I called customer service and they sent out a tech. He barely did anything and when we got the report back, he didn't meet any of my concerns and pretty much made up something that didn't even exist. They told me they would send out a new tech which they did not guess who arrived at my door today the same tech that didn't do his job the last time with me being a single woman with a teenage daughter that made me extremely uncomfortable, and he pulled off the first time when he realized that he was at the same house again and I have pictures to prove it. Countless times of mistakes, they sold me a headboard without the rest of the bed, didn't credit it until I called them and then said they would credit the rails for my troubles. Still haven't done this, I have contacted them no more than 8 times to make it right.. I will never shop here again based on the incompetence I have had to deal with... No body cares about customer service nor do they know how to provide it.. The sales and management people took the order and the money and they were done helping.. I had a terrible experience with this location. It started off well, however. I utilized the chat feature on the website, which connected me to an associate at this store. Due to COVID, she was able to video chat with me and show me the pieces I liked. She was friendly and helpful. Some of my furniture was on back order, causing my order to be delivered into two deliveries a month apart, but I was ok with that. In order to get the pieces into my home, I have to reserve the elevator at my building. The sales associate put in a COD so that the delivery men would be notified and adjust their route accordingly (at least that's what I assumed). I called her a week before my delivery to make sure everything was set, and she confirmed that it was. The first delivery was awful. The furniture was supposed to be delivered in the afternoon, which is what me and the associate discussed. I received a call from the delivery drivers at 9am, stating that they were 10 minutes away. I explained the COD situation, and they said they didn't see one, and that I would have to reschedule by calling customer service. Frustrated, I called them 3 separate times--I was hung up on the first time after waiting 20 minutes, and I was on hold for an hour for the following 2. Long story short, this turned into a back and forth between this location's store manager and the delivery manager. THEY RESCHEDULED THE DELIVERY AND STILL DIDN'T SHOW UP THE SECOND TIME. By the third time, I was livid, but I was able to get a hold of the regional manager's assistant. He was helpful but I was still very upset. The second delivery was not as awful, but still bad. They have an online system that tells you the delivery window 2 days in advance. I made my elevator reservation around the time they gave me. Long story short, the delivery kept getting pushed back an hour every hour, and they didn't end up coming until 6:45 pm. I didn't even think they were still coming because I had such low expectations. One of the delivery guys was clearly very young and a bit reckless with handling the furniture, and the other was very standoffish--he didn't speak to me at all. Needless to say, I would not recommend anyone to this Rooms To Go location. Not sure if my experience was indicative of how the company operates as a whole, but I didn't feel like my issue was resolved properly, and they have not made a customer out of me. read more

We had a king mattress delivered the other day and they were supposed to haul off the old one. Well, that didn't happen. I called the salesperson the next day after, and he stated he was going to speak to the store manager about getting it picked up and that he would call me the next business day. I called the salesperson yesterday (Wednesday) he stated that the store manager approved for the mattress to be picked up and that someone was going to give me a call to schedule pick up time. I ordered over $3,000 worth of furniture from this store two and a half months ago. Today (June 2nd) was the delivery date they gave us. Not ideal, but I was ok with that. Today, on the date of delivery, I find out that the 2 chairs I ordered have been discontinued, and are no longer part of my order. My wife had called 2 weeks ago to confirm the order and delivery date and everything was "on track." I followed the link they sent me last week and confirmed that all of the items were scheduled for delivery June 2nd. I had my old furniture picked up by a charitable organization last night. I took the day off work today to be home for the delivery. I called the toll free "service" number and waited on hold for half an hour before giving up. I called the store directly, and after getting a busy signal several times (I'm not kidding. BUSY. In 2021) I finally got through to someone. When I asked why the chairs were no longer part of my order, I was told they were discontinued and no longer available. I explained to the "service" rep that we already had our old furniture picked up, based on their confirmation of our delivery, and that my wife's elderly parents were on the way to visit for the weekend. Kind of hard to ask the in-laws to sit on the floor. I asked for help finding different chairs that could be delivered by Friday. Instead offering to help me locate replacements, I was told I could look at their website to find something that could be delivered, or they could refund that portion of the money - which they have had in-full since March. Now I don't know if you've ever visited the RTG website, but it's not exactly the most robust search platform. After an hour of adding and removing many different chairs to my shopping cart, just so I could see the delivery date, I finally found chairs that were acceptable to my wife and I, and indicated they could be delivered by Friday. I called back the "service" rep, told her I had found replacements and wanted her to confirm that they were available, and that they could be delivered by Friday. I gave her the sku number and waited while she looked them up. She came back on the line and said, "Those are the ones for $429.99 each, right?" No. No they are not. I told her I was looking at the chairs on the website and they are listed at $379.99 each. She told me she would have to contact someone from corporate to see if she could sell them for that price (I swear I'm not making this up). I reminded her that I would need delivery by Friday and she said she would call me right back with confirmation. That was 5 HOURS AGO. I still haven't heard anything. In the meantime, the truck showed up with our partial order. Sofa was fine. Lamps were fine. All three tables were damaged. The tables feature a tile inset on top. The grout in that section was crumbling and falling apart. See photos attached. So, while Rooms To Go still has all of the purchase price for this 2 and a half month old order, I have less than half of my items, and no indication of how they plan to resolve this issue. Came in searching for some new furniture for our house. We weren't sure what we wanted and just wanted to browse through the store and see the myriad of choices, of which there were plenty. Bedrooms sets, couches, chairs, sectionals, side tables, etc - they have it all. There are a lot of salespeople, and they will check in on you often. They aren't too pushy, but you can tell they are trying to make a sale. Most will leave you alone after you let them know you are still browsing / just looking. They are helpful though if you have questions or know the style of what you're looking for but need help finding it. They can even order it online if they don't have it at that particular location, which is helpful considering that they can't carry every possible option at their store. read more

We found an item that would have worked, but I had yet to check another source. The store is very well appointed and arranged for viewing staged rooms of home furnishings. This is a very large display store! It's very likely that they have almost anything you need at a very competitive price!! UPDATE:: 05/30/2019 Still waiting for a response from RTG about replacing defective chair for second time. I was informed that their vendor is responsible for the chair, not RTG even though RTG sold it to me! I asked what happens if the vendor doesn't ever respond and was told that only the vendor can take care of the problem and that I have to wait on the vendor to do such! The representatives are friendly and eager to assist, and the showroom looks very good. Unfortunately the store, delivery, and customer service are all vastly different! I received my order of three rooms of furniture and more than half of the pieces were damaged, destroyed, or otherwise defective beyond useable. Customer service puts customers through an almost endless loop of polite apologies for not returning calls or following up, or simply inexplicably removing service/repair/replacemen­t requests from their system, causing the entire process to start from square one! The service reps are very quick to remind customers that you can't get a refund for destroyed furniture or for products that are replaced with yet another defective item! Most everything takes at least a week or more to schedule and in the case of the wobbly chair that I reported needed replacing, it was ultimately about 25 days before someone followed up on my request for service and ultimately about 50 days, FIFTY DAYS for my defective replacement to arrive! The bottom line is that I will never shop at Rooms To Go again and I will advise anyone I know to look elsewhere. The sales reps are friendly and the furniture looks good, but some of it is cheaply constructed. I ordered a Couch from Room's to go. The instore experience was good. The logistics and delivery was awful and non-existant. I requested 9am-noon, and was given 12-4pm. I accepted the 12-4pm time, and it is now 630pm and I am still here at my office waiting for the couch. I just called and they shared that they are still a few hours away, which means I would have to wait until 9pm for the delivery. It is dissappointing to have wasted a day here, where I could have been with my family at home. If I had known, i would have scheduled for another day. I never received a call from my sale rep, the drivers or anyone to let me know how behind they are. Awful customer experience. The customer service reps were nice and tried to help, but I am still here with no couch and no information, and I have wasted Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Believe the negative reviews before you purchase. We had a previous good experience when purchasing our new sofa a couple years ago and so went back for a new bedroom yet. The sales person was nice enough, and when we were torn between two sets we liked, he made the decision easy by saying it would be a minimum of two months before one of the sets could be delivered - where the other one would be a few weeks. We didn't know that every item would come individually, PLUS take just as long as the other set. Our mattress (just the mattress) was delivered within a week of us buying it. In fairness, our salesperson did say he would send the mattress first so we at least had something to sleep on. (not a cheap mattress, either) It came with a warranty - provided you use the mattress pad that came with it. Only the mattress didn't come with the mattress delivery, and they said it would be overnighted. We received it a week later. Our bed frame (just the bed frame) came some weeks after that, delivered by two men in an Enterprise rental truck, not a Rooms to Go truck. I thought the whole set was being delivered and told them where to set everything up. They didn't greet us, didn't say much of anything, assembled the bed, and walked out of the house. One of them then told me that the only thing he had on his work order to deliver was the bed frame, no other furniture and told us to sign off on it. When we asked questions about the rest of the furniture, he said, rather rudely, that he did not work for Rooms to Go, was a third party hire, and to contact RTG for any questions. They were so rude, we didn't even tip them. We've never not tipped before. I believe the delivery person's name was Twain, or something like that. We went upstairs to see the horrible job they did in assembling our bed, essentially breaking parts of the bed in the assembly process. I'm guessing this is why they were so quick to leave the house. Boards were not flush, parts were bent, other pieces broken, screws were stripped, etc. The mattress wasn't even sitting in the frame of the bed properly. My husband immediately called a manager, who assured us he would take care of everything, and said he would call back. He never did. My husband called a week later, same thing. Here we are 3 weeks later, still don't have the rest of our furniture, sleeping on a poorly put together bed, and the manager STILL has not contacted us. We spent over $5k on a bedroom set that we still don't have, and what we do have is shoddily put together. Management has not helped AT ALL, and there are no refunds or returns because we bought from inside the store instead of purchasing only. Shop somewhere else. read more

This location is by north point mall and parking is ample. I know that some stores have a clearance section but this One had more mark down approaches. The store was clean and I enjoyed my visit. My rep came over and greeted and asked how he could help however he didn't seemed to thrilled to want to assist. He had more of a "just doing my job" not relating to the customer. Hello Shoppers! Rooms To Go is not a good store to purchase your furniture. I purchased living room furniture and was given a delivery date of Friday, November 29, 2019, 12:00 - 4:00 PM delivery window. At 8:00 PM I called Rooms To Go Customer Service, waited 20 minutes and nothing was done. No delivery was received. They give you an APP to track your delivery. It is a joke! They don't give accurate delivery information nor do they call you after your delivery time had passed. I waited from 12:00 to 8:00 PM and nothing was delivered. Took a day off work for this delivery. I am very disappointed with Rooms To Go and their delivery service. They will not let you select a time frame for your delivery. They assign you a time and then they do not call to give updates when they have missed their delivery time. Customer service is a joke, too. The put you on hold while they attempt to reach the dispatch department. I waited 20 minutes and still did not get my issue resolved. ****UPDATE from my review below and just an fyi for any customer thinking to order from here. I have been trying for 2 days to reschedule my order. Unfortunately it can take up to 48 hours for a delivery to be rescanned back in for the order to be "opened" back up for re-delivery. So some reason my bedroom set couldn't be delivered but i have yet been given a reason other than "it happens" or "sometimes theres delays". Anyways I go to reschedule for the next week but NO i am told the only availability is middle of December. What?? I ordered this set in September. Was supposed to receive it in October but didn't get it although it was shipped and now I have to get it 2 months later? So orders placed after me will have their orders delivered well before i do. What sense does that make??? You would think because of their mistake they would rush out this delivery but unfortunately again, this company is not helpful or responsive. I was able to get some wiggle room and scheduled the delivery for last day of November (practically still December) so we shall see if it even arrives a second time. CAN'T GET IT! We recently visited Rooms to Go to look for furniture. I've never been a fan but wanted to see if they have elevated their selection and added new items. We were initially interested in a leather chair but their selection was very limited. My husband did find a sofa that interested him, (dude was just tired of shopping and getting desperate), so we waved over the sales person, Tim. Tim is very direct and I like that, no fudging no BS. When I asked him about basic information regarding construction and weight limitations, he said "can't get it". What about specs and measurements, "can't get it". He could not tell me anything about the collection because their furniture is manufactured in China under a very generic umbrella and apparently they can't be bothered with providing helpful information. When I finally asked him "How cheap is this piece? (because by now, I know that real quality is out the window), he had no idea! He simply tipped it over to show me the cheap Made in China tag. The fact that he was able to just tip it over spoke volumes because you could never do that with quality pieces of substantial weight. I continued to ask questions and here is the gist of it: all of their furniture is on the same level. There is no distinguishable "top of the line" manufacturer and it is all basic quality as far as they are concerned. Clearly, there are probably items that are better constructed than others but how would you know? Yes, it has been a very long time since I purchased furniture because I purchase quality pieces and the only reason I am looking now is because I recently passed on some "family" pieces to my son. However, when it comes to purchasing, the process has always been the same, I like to know about the company, the collection and how the furniture is constructed. When I last purchased furniture, reviews were not a thing, so you had to do the research. I have never just allowed a salesperson to tell me about a product, I like the written word, straight from the manufacturer. This is not an option with Rooms to Go! My husband and I were in the search for a new living room set. We had went to several other places before trying Rooms To Go. When we arrived we were greeted by Tom the sales associate. He was super friendly and seemed to be very knowledgeable. He didn't hassle us nor follow us around the store which we liked. He told us to take a look around the sales floor and if we had any questions to let him know. We looked around for awhile and if we passed he made sure we were still doing okay. We finally agreed on a set and Tom was great in assisting us and letting us know we could mix and match accessories (lamps, tables, rugs), letting us know the different pricing in the sets and how much for shipping, and the cost difference between items. We went over different pricing options and Tom was super helpful in letting us know all our options that fit our budget. I would recommend this location again to anybody looking into getting new furniture. The staff was helpful and super friendly. I purchased furniture from Rooms To Go on Feb 27 with a delivery date of Mar 13. The gentlemen delivered the furniture with the 4 hour window but delivered the wrong pieces. They wanted to leave the wrong furniture, but I told them to take it all back. As they were leaving they knocked into walls and dismantled my shoe rack near the door. I called the sales person and she said she would call me back, she never did. I called customer service and I was on hold for 20 minutes and opted to get a return call, never happened. I then went back to the store and talked to my sales person and she said someone would contact me on Monday. I bought a sofa, chair and ottoman back in March 2021 got furniture delivered 5/19/21. the furniture came damaged. The delivery guys took pictures and send them to customer care. Never received a call from RTG. I finally called them on June 1st and they we're going to place a service call. The customer care rep called me June 2nd to let me know there was no service person available and that they were sending me the dust covers for me to staple them myself! I paid full price for these furnitures and not discounted. Never again will I buy anything else at RTG! read more

I actually visited this location twice, once last year and once this year. I was attended by Ralph on both occasions. The first time I walked into the store, he was the only sales person that greeted me and was eager to help. Ralph was extremely patient and knowledgeable with the products in the store. His customer service is absolutely incredible. He also took the time to educate to me the importance of buying insurance on the furniture, without feeling pressured to buy it. I'm glad I did, since my sofa was mysteriously damaged. Getting a replacement was a seamless process. Overall, I'm super happy with the services at this location. Decided to go with rooms to go for my bed. I got a pretty decent deal on a bed set. Everything was good until they changed the delivery date on me because they overbooked the day I need which was the day I was moving into my new place. I understand things happen because as long as humans are involved there is human error but it all about how you resolve the situation. First thing you don't do is let your customer know that there was a change in delvery in a automated text with no explanation. Second thing you don't do is wait until 4 days before the promised delivery date to let your customer know that they overbooked the date originally planned and it will come the next available business day (not a weekend bc ofcourse that would cost them money). Third thing you don't do, is offer only half the delivery fee back to the customer. The sup told me they were still delivering it. I get it, yeah you are still delivering it but on a day that is convenient to them. I had already worked it out with my team at work to be off on the promised day, now I have to be off another day. Luckily I have the flexibility but imagine if I didn't and that day I choose was my only option. Not everybody is fortunate enough to just take off whenever because Rooms to go can't schedule deliveries correctly. And nobody want to wait forever to receive their bed. I had told me in advanced, I would be upset but I wouldn't be mad enough to write a post about it. I would have most likely cancel and went somewhere else but I would have been still open to do business you guys another time. I am not satisfied with the service that I have received from the Alpharetta store. I have purchased several items including a living room set, a bedroom set and shelving units. 6 out of 7 orders/deliveries have been WRONG and have to resort to calling customer service to get things corrected. I have asked that my account be somehow monitored so that future orders will not be incorrect. I have even requested to speak to a manager or supervisor and I keep getting told "There's nothing we can do." My most recent issue has been at the Alpharetta Store when I purchased a shelving unit. Rooms To Go 10845 Haynes Bridge Rd Ste K, Alpharetta, GA 30022 Sales Associate: Yolanda Supervisor/Manager: Marlon Manager: Tino Malescio I came into the store on January 17, 2021. YES! 2 and a half months ago as of today! I chose a living room shelf unit to purchase. I was told by Ms. Yolanda that the unit will cost $100. I agreed and purchased the unit that day. I scheduled the delivery for Friday, February 12th. Because of the delivery, I scheduled to be off from work to receive it. February 12th came and the delivery truck arrived. They placed 1 (one) box into my garage for COVID-related deliveries and went back to the truck and left. I grabbed the box from my garage and noticed it was quite small for the size of shelf I purchased. I opened the box and the only items inside was the frame of the shelf. The frame only; no hardware, no screws, no bolts, no shelves, nothing. I called customer service and was on hold for an 1.5HR (90 minutes). After reaching a customer service representative, I explained multiple times to her that I did not receive the entire shelving unit. She did not understand that I did not have the complete unit. After speaking with her for 20 minutes, she looked into my account and realized that I did not have the full shelving unit; I only had 4 pieces of board that are 6 feet tall and NOTHING else. So she proceeded to schedule a new delivery of the ENTIRE shelf and to have it professionally installed. She informed me that they would also pick up the old order of the frame and take it away. She scheduled the delivery to be on Wednesday, February 17th. On February 17th, the same exact thing happened; the delivery drivers arrived and only had the legs of the shelving unit and not the entire unit. My wife, who was home at that time, asked where the rest of the shelving unit was, and she was told that they only had the legs. She told them that customer service said they ordered the entire unit for us, and the drivers informed my wife that they only had the legs in the truck. My wife expressed her frustration to them, and they told her that a customer service rep would be in contact. That never happened. They also did not take the original legs to the shelf. Those are still sitting in my garage. At this point, as furious as I was because this is the 5th out of 6 failures from this store, My wife called the store to speak to Yolanda. Yolanda spoke with her and advised she gave the wrong information to us and the shelf unit was supposed to be $300 instead of $100 and that I had to pay more money to set things correct. I wasn't happy with this solution and I wanted to have a different option. She said she would talk with her manager and get back to me within the day. One week later, I still had not heard from her. I physically went to the store on Tuesday February 23rd to speak to a manager. I spoke with Mr Marlon and advised him of the entire story. He directed me to talk to the General Manager to see what they can do. I felt as if I have received poor customer service from this store too many times. I shouldn't expect every delivery and interaction to have to result in calling customer service and having to take additional days off from work to receive a delivery. He took my name and information and advised the General Manager, Mr Tino Malescio, would get back to me either on Tuesday or Thursday of that week. It is Tuesday March 2 and this situation is still not resolved. No one has called me. No one has done a follow up with my situation. No one at this store seems to really care that I have had several poor interactions with no results from multiple people assisting me. This store STILL has my money, has not offered me a refund, and is only asking that I pay MORE money to correct this situation. read more
