I've talked to other designers about sound concerns before, but their advice has mostly been "have you tried curtains?" Stephanie had clear, practical advice and a partner she trusted -- and her solutions were far less expensive than I had been fearing! She's great at keeping a project moving, and we had substantial improvements in a very short period of time. The kitchen in particular is a much more enjoyable place to spend time. On the whole, the space is much brighter, quieter, and has much more positive energy. We have 2 other children in the house daily with a learning pod, and I'm very happy we did this project. Once we started knocking down the noise level, it was clear what a big impact it was having on us!

She heard me. She "got" me. And from there we went from room to room and she helped me identify what the bottom line problems were. Wrong color here, furniture needed rearranging there. She helped me figure out what was right for ME and sent me a beautifully designed plan for getting there. My rooms are beautiful for me now, and they work. Her service is not just design, it's love; how to love your home again!

They are knowledgeable, friendly and make the process of designing a new kitchen simple. I highly recommend them for your new kitchen design project. At some point the conflict between design and selling cabinets comes up. There are things in the design of our kitchen that are difficult to explain without the justification of selling another cabinet. We also had problems with measurements that were wrong. The cabinets were changed but this caused several weeks of delays. We also had a terrible experience with the contractor that they recommended, who wasted our time and money. He was working at a very slow pace and never brought qualified workers. They were a couple of teachers doin spare change during summer, an art school student, and a tile installer out of his depth. They were all nice people, by the way. But no the kind of workers you expect a contractor to bring to your house. We ended up with dozens of floor tiles with chipped borders and bathroom tiles that are crooked. The bathroom toilet moves to this day, they chipped the finish in the bathroom faucet, the laundry faucet is not well installed, some light switches were never installed.I also spent several weekends doing his work to try and speed up the work. I did painting and grouting. I helped to install the front door, the oven, and the fridge. I installed locks and handles. I cleaned every night and I disposed of trash. I can keep going but you get the picture. To be fair, the contractor does not work for Performance Kitchens. But he was recommended by Performance Kitchens

We have hired Rodrigo to Put together large pieces of furniture on our roof deck, as well as the backyard. He also put together all the furniture in the nursery, which included baby proofing the entire nursery. In addition to this, Rodrigo baby proofed our entire first floor, which includes the living room and the kitchen and anchored heavy pieces of furniture. Both Rodrigo and Laura have a great eye for interior design with a focus on functionality, and we have also turned to them for consultations on organization systems for our current home, as well as the apartment that we lived in previously. They always provided great feedback, were always incredibly thorough, but surprisingly speedy with every home project that we have hired them for. For a new mom, the peace of mind that came with knowing that I did not have to worry about putting together my baby's room, was priceless.

We highly recommend Kevin of Love Tile and Marble! We hired him to re-tile our shower after we…read morelearned water had been getting behind the tile and causing rot, due to shoddy work by the previous tile person. Kevin showed up for the estimate when he said he would, and had the estimate out to me promptly. His price was fair, so we set a date for the install, and he was there when he said he would be. He and his helper were friendly and professional through the process and took extra steps to protect our house during the work - putting down many drop cloths, taping up vents and cabinets during demolition. He kept us informed of the progress and the end result was spectacular! We would definitely use him again for our tiling needs.

Trust me. If you want to know more, read on.... I was introduced to Love Tile and Marble through a claim with my home owner's insurance. Kevin and his team were sent out as sub-contractors for the tile repair. The insurance company paired us with a project manager to handle all aspects of the demolition and re-building of our two bathrooms. Long story short - we had a terrible experience with that project manager, and their other sub-contractors (the electrician, plumber, etc). The ONLY positive experience we had through the entire process was with Love Tile and Marble. Their workmanship was superior. They showed professionalism. And just as important, they showed respect for my home. These guys put down canvas to protect my hardwood floors and wiped their boots on the mat before they came in. It may seem like small gestures. But, through the 3 months of hellish renovations and dozens of contractors in and out of my home, the respectful ones stand out. After choosing my new floor tile, Kevin made suggestions on the pattern because of the imperfections in the tile (1/3 pattern, as opposed to the 1/2 pattern I originally wanted). I agreed with his suggestion and the floors came out beautifully! We also hired him again for other work, since we were so happy with his previous work. Bottom line - Kevin and his team are utterly fantastic. Fair and reasonable prices for top quality workmanship (which I can personally attest - is tough to find these days).
