I use to go here often and went today. I was the only client at 9:10AM and there were seven…read morebarbers. I had a haircut and requested the barber line up my seven days of facial hair. I was in the chair 25 minutes and charged $45. I thought this was outrageous. I was told my haircut was $25 and line up was $20. Then I was charged an additional $1.80 for using my Chase Freedom Unlimited credit card. I did tip the barber $5 because he did a good job and probably rents his chair. However, at those prices, I'll stay with my regular barber who charges $15. I'll also take some of the blame for not asking what the cost would be before he started. The shop isn't as clean as it used to be. When I was reclined and staring up at the ceiling, I noticed the fans were covered in dust.

Either way I never have to say much and it just comes out right. I've gone to Bottima for all my important events. My wedding, vacations, every work trip where I need to look sharp. I get the Bottima cut and beard trim. He's got an eye for detail, and the hot towel is a nice touch. Rest of the team is talented too, so you're in good hands whoever you land with. Booking is easy, walk-ins are easy, and I've never waited around after showing up. Convenient spot with ample parking and good energy. Easily the best in Fort Lauderdale.

The stylists were Russian, laid-back, 30-something moms with a post-punk revival allure. My stylist wasn't conservative, at all, and understood the kind of look I was going for (I'm more on the edgy side with haircuts). It turns out, she was a huge fan Kino back in the day (Kino was a post-punk, new wave band that formed during the late periods of the Cold War). The whole haircut came out as described, and I left content with Leyla's expertise and service.
