Most importantly, he respects all his patients and is very responsive - his answering service after hours does an excellent job of getting ahold of him in the event that you need to contact him. As many of you know, this is HUGE and nothing is worse than not being able to reach your doctor when you need him the most. Scheduling an appointment with his staff is always a pleasant experience - something you don't really get with larger group practices. I would highly recomment Doc. Hanna and the Lakeshore Ob/Gyn staff.

He is very timely with appointments and always respects the time that we have during the appointment. i never at all felt like he was in a rush to leave and always appreciated that he took the time to answer all my questions. His office staff are very friendly and work very well at getting you appointments scheduled the best that they can. Overall, i had been looking for an oBGYN and so glad i found Dr. Hanna! i had the most amazing experience and i know that others in town will tell you the exact same thing. his knowledge is super and he was so many world experiences to tell you about--i wouldn't trust my life in anyone else's hands!!!!!

I'll try to keep this short. I've been going here a while.. seeing Dr. Gretchen Byrkit. She is…read moresadly non-caring, makes me feel inferior and she is demeaning. This practice and Dr. Byrkit are unconscionable and unprofessional. She judges me based on my beliefs. I tend to lean towards more natural hormones, etc., and she literally told me I was utilizing voodooism. I value myself and my body way too much to continue at this practice.

I had a miscarriage right when I moved here and so I found this office but they weren't crazy helpful. Once i had my second miscarriage about five Months later it was even worse. I had really bad cramps and bleeding and so i went in and they gave me an ultrasound and told me everything was fine. Two days later i had a miscarriage. Then they told me to self monitor my miscarriage. I had called with some issues from my miscarriage and they didn't take any quick action at all. They couldn't get me in for over a week and when i showed up they wouldn't see me unless i paid a $600 bill that i got in the mail the day before the appointment. You are not the priority there. The female doctor was very condescending when i called for help. The only good interaction i had talked with the male doctor, he was nice. Any questions i had i got dismissed or i was talked around in a circle where i wouldn't get any answers. I got no help during some extremely hard times. I found someone else and they did everything they could as quick as possible to figure out what is causing the issues from the miscarriage and how they can help me to be healthy again.
