The staff is friendly. Their lasagna is amazing and so is their Caesar salad. Portion size is plenty.

We eat here a couple of times a month. We have NEVER had anything that was not spectacular!!! Owner is fantastic!!!

Not fast food for sure so don't expect to get in and out in a hurry. The food was great and the presentation was wonderful watching them cook food in a big cheese wheel. We had the combo which was 1 manicotti 1 cannelloni and a slice of lasagna. Then a plate of manicotti and the daily special that had seafood, pasta, broccoli and cream sauce cooked in the wheel of cheese. Just saying lots of cheese on our dishes so hope you like cheese. It tasted great and the bread dipped in the olive oil spice combo was good too. read more

The best Italian food I've had in Tyler in a long time! We had a large group, which can often be challenging for the server,but not here! The gentleman that served us was great! Great food and a great option for more authentic Italian food. I used to get to go a lot and my only complaint was getting charged for bread and seasoned dipping oil even though I'd by two or more entrees each time. You get those things free when you eat there so why not when you buy the same thing to go? read more

Horrible overpriced bland food wanted to try something new and regretted it. We got the 10$ minestrone soup and the broth tasted like water basil leaves with a couple of floating vegetables. the spaghetti didn't taste any better then a frozen meal. Very bland disappointing food. I think they should taste the food before they send it out. read more

I have eaten here several times. My wife and love the food. The pasta is lights out. I thought the pizza was ok, but my son and his friend loved it. My wife loves the Stromboli's. Overall a great choice for Italian food. Nice ambiance also. read more

I've waited a couple of days to write this in order to see if my feelings a couple of evenings ago would change. They have not. My wife took me, our granddaughter and a friend to Roma's for my birthday dinner. I ordered the Chef's Special which was a seafood pasta. The crab turned out to be imitation and way overcooked. The scallops were about the size of peas. The shrimp were overcooked and tough and had not been cleaned. I will say that the pasta and sauce were good. We told our waiter about the shrimp that had not been cleaned. He thanked us for telling him and ok the shrimp to the kitchen. That was the end of it. We never heard from the manager. They didn't discount the meal. They didn't apologize. I paid the bill as presented and will find it difficult to ever go back. It was a Monday night so many places were closed, but there are a number of good restaurants in Longview, even if I need to wait a couple of days to celebrate. read more

The staff was very friendly and our waiter was informative for someone like me who had never been there. Our bread was warm right out of the oven served along a generous portion of seasoned olive oil for dipping. I ordered the sampler of three different items. DELICIOUS! My husband ordered shrimp scampi , which had about 8 good size shrimp on it! Sneaking a bite I wish I had ordered that.... on top of my own order!!! Excellent service from the moment you walk in the door. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The Rotini Special is wonderful! Their Italian sausage is not over the top with fennel, which I appreciate. My husband had the Squid ink linguine, which looked appetizing even though I don't care for seafood pastas. The food here was just not good. We ordered stuffed jalapeños as the appetizer which was literally frozen jalapeño poppers & for $8 It was just not worth it. We both ordered shrimp scampi and it was so runny it was a soup consistency. I'm not sure if my expectancy of shrimp scampi is just not authentic to how it's truly made, but the shrimp seemed to be just boiled with no seasonings or anything. We unfortunately disliked that dish so much we were Karens and sent one back for a pasta combo which was much better, but not great for the price. What made me rate them 3 stars is that our waitress was amazing and super attentive. She made sure our experience was a good one even after we sent the dish back. The owner did come to us and asked us how our experience was, we could tell he felt bad for us sending the dish back and I could really appreciate that he took the time to check on us. All in all I loved the customer service, but I definitely wouldn't go back to eat there. read more

I went here on a double date and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing! It's very clean and so fancy inside! The food was AMAZING and came out so fast. Our waiter was so attentive and our drinks were never empty. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the knowledge on all the win they had was low and we could see a cook in the kitchen not wearing a mask and our waiter wore one sometimes. Other than covid issues this place was amazing and we will be going back! (OH and portion size of food was HUGE. So these meals are shareable!!) read more

We've been there twice, and the first time was special because they had live piano music, which was a treat. Second time, there wasn't music, but the atmosphere and food were still great. We like to sit in the balcony area. The lobster ravioli is fantastic, and I also really like the limoncello cake for dessert. read more

Once again a most excellent dining experience at Roma's. The Stuffed Mushrooms appetizers alone were a meal in themselves. This time I went with the Crawfish Murphy; a truly unique concoction. What makes Roma's special is each dish has its own unique flavor. Everything has a homemade appeal and quality. They're always open and the service is excellent. STAFF WENT ABOVE & BEYOND I came to the Roma's crew with a last minute request to help us host a large group event at their restaurant. The problem was, nothing in Longview seemed to be open after 9pm. The Roma's Staff, manager and owner went above and beyond our expectations. They graciously stayed open, after hours, to serve our group, offering bites and drink service all night. They were friendly, patient, and made us all feel at home. I've had the rigatoni in vodka sauce with chicken, twice. It was really good, but the chicken was pretty thin. The second time I had it, the chicken was even thinner. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be grilled, or not, but it was the thinnest piece of chicken I've ever had at a restaurant. The taste taste was a little different too, like a piece of processed chicken. It looked like it had been run over with a steam roller, like maybe 10 times. I don't know if I'll order it again. I'll probably try and make it at home, from now on. read more

I have been several times to this restaurant and have been underwhelmed. Last night I was with a group of five downtown and walked in at 813. We waited and waited to even be acknowledged. Had the lobster ravioli in tomato cream(pink) sauce. Excellent. Ravioli were al dente and not mushy at all, lobster stuffing was rich, and the sauce was made for soaking up in garlic bread. Speaking of the bread, it was good, but I'd say it was the most average thing I ate, but once it hit the sauce it didn't matter. The sauce was really that good imo. This is the best Italian Food! Even the Chicken Caesar Salad with chicken was amazing. Pizza is also top of my list. My only problem is the bread brought to the table is too good, Comes with the best dipping sauce. Then to top it off our waiter, Erik, was the most polite and personable person that I have ever seen at a restaurant! This is a first class place to eat lunch or dinner. Give it a try. read more

For Italian in a small East Texas town not bad at all. Prices were extremely reasonable and for good portions. Food came out hot and very tasty. Decent wine selection. Order food to go so I can't judge to harshly. As soon as I walked in it looks and sounds like an authentic Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere. There were multiple groups waiting for their tables and it smelled delicious. I stood in line for about 8 to 10 minutes before really being acknowledged. The hostess was definitely flustered and busy. When she did great me she was very nice. My to-go order came out in less than 5 minutes when I finally said I was there for a pick up order. The food was pretty good. I had spaghetti with meatballs and Italian sausage. The sauce was flavorful and the sausage was great. The meatballs however had absolutely no flavor and seemed a little undercooked. Which was disappointing since they looked fantastic. The ahi tuna appetizer was also pretty good. We had it as a single entree and it was just enough, but I can also see it being good to share. Overall service could be better at the door and maybe adding some more flavor to the meatballs but definitely make sure it's cooked all the way!! read more

Love this Italian restaurant! The food was wonderful and this location is BYOB- so we brought our own wine in. They bring fresh complimentary bread with garlic oil to start. There were 7 people in our group... So, I can speak highly of the calamari, stuffed mushrooms, house salad, cheese tortellini w/pink sauce & salmon w/vegetables. Everything was delicious! Our waiter was a true professional of the restaurant industry! The atmosphere, beautiful building, live piano & downtown vibe were all bonus items. My advice, don't rush this process. This place was very nice. Very nice environment with friendly staff. My husband got the shrimp Alfredo and I got the grilled salmon. Both dishes were fantastic, bit to mention the fresh bread and dipping oil. We got the tiaramisu and limoncello cake for dessert. Both were so good!!! Our waiter bagged our leftovers for us- which no one ever does. It's the small things like that which make a difference. We appreciated his kind and friendly manor and he checked on us often, refilling our drinks and making sure everything was satisfactory.
