I booked an appointment online Friday evening for Saturday monring, they looked at car right on time. The receptionist was very friendly and polite. The mechanic looked at my hybride and he said my brakes were fine, actually there was 80% pad life still remaining. He said the drums had a bit of light corresion but not to be concerned, as this is normal for hybrides and EV, because the electric braking system is slowing the car down, not the brakes as much. I didn't know this, so this information gave me peace of mind. They only charged for the inspection which was under $50, and there was no up selling. I found out if I needed brake pads or other parts, they are available on weekends, which is good to know for anyone needing brake work. Excellent shop, I'll definately be going back in the future

I was about to walk away when the owner, Francis, took one of his guys off a job to get into my car and drive around the block with me to listen to what might be the cause. I had told Francis the noise was so loud that my daughter was embarrassed to drive in our car. When he heard I had a child he didn't feel good sending me away in the event it was a question of safety. We returned and his employee proceeded (with a great attitude) to remove a tire to check what he thought might be the issue. When all was done I was very appreciative and wanted to of course pay for the time. Francis told me it was on him and was happy to help. What? Who does that? I left, still a little surprised but definitely pleased with the way I was treated. And I wasn't even a paying customer! I certainly hope that I will not need the services of a body shop in the future but if ever the occasion arises I will definitely visit Francis and his team. Thank you!

However Dave knows very well it's job and the most important is that he finds solutions that are cost effective. He will not change something that doesn't need to be changed and when he does change something he will do it well for a fair price. My A/C stopped working a few months ago so I brought my car to the shop I was used to go. The whole bill for changing everything would have been close to $1000 (probably $1500 at Honda). Upon a good friend recommendation I went to se Dave and je changed a few relays and fixed the A/C compressor without changing it (the part in itself must be close to $500). Total bill was under $200 and it has been working great since. If your budget is more important than the free coffee and glamour you would find in a dealership then I would recommend going to this shop. Appearances are super basic but they are not important for me when I am getting my car repaired as I want the best job for the lowest price. This will be my go to shop from now on.
