I was referred to Ken by the Chevy dealership I trusted because they didn't feel comfortable servicing my 1994 1500. He got a vehicle that had been sitting over a decade roadworthy again. He was able to flush the engine an manually rotate it for lubrication, replace the gas tank, gas pump, fuel injectors, tires, brake cylinders, had the smog done, he even helped me understand the best way to get my tags again. Ken was amazing, knowledgable, and his pricing was so good that I asked him to repeat it several times because I couldn't believe it was so affordable. They did spot 1 thing that went unnoticed. I had an exhaust leak close to the exhaust manifold. I'm glad that they fixed it! I have been taking my car to Rollings for three years now on the recommendation of a friend. I have never had an issue. I feel like pricing is fair. I usually drop my car off in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon, so I can't speak to speed. But I will always get a call to explain what I need and how much it'll cost and then another call when my car is done. Today, 8/13/21, Friday, (The 13th), I want to give a tremendous "Shout Out" to Mike Scheidecker, and Kenny. I do apologize for anyone that had a bad experience, but I must keep it 100%. My experience; These two mechanics were "Awesome", and the mechanic that referred me to them I must give him a huge "Shout Out" as well. What I appreciate about Mike he contacted me and prior to completing service or charges he told me the cost for the diagnostic test to find the problem. Once I gave approval, Mike did the test and contacted me via phone of the issues, and the breakdown of the cost. After, the discussion, and I gave approval the part was ordered. When he didn't think the car would be completed at the time agreed. Mike contacted me as soon as possible, to avoid any inconvenience. The beauty of it all, he apologized and gave me the extension time needed to complete the job. I told him no worries because, I rather have the work completed correctly. Mike and Kenny, are a good team!! Extremely Respectful, Personality, Professional, Dignity, and take an abundance of "Pride" in their work. Some, may not agree but each and everyone of us have fell short in our lifetime. What I observed about Mike he is approachable and wants to make sure he has fixed the problem with not only the repairs for your vehicle but any customers issues. Even though my car was in Rollings Auto overnight, and I had to make arrangements for transportation to and from work. The inconvenience was well worth it, and my vehicle is running like new money!!! Love them love them love them! Finding a good auto mechanic is a very scary thing indeed! Ken, the owner, has been working on my cars for about eight years. (Jaquar, audi, ford van) I have taken my Audi to the dealership several times and received a quote. I then brought it to Ken to see if he could beat the price. Quite often some of the things the dealer told me needed to be fixed he told me did not. That makes me feel like I am in good capable hands. I have never felt taken advantage of in anyway. Pretty sorry service. My vehicle sat there in the endless sea of cars that were at this place for over 1 and a half month before they got to it. Every week I would call and get the run around and a promise that they would be working on my car. Then almost 2 months later they told me they began working on my vehicle only to tell me I needed a Valve job when all I took my vehicle for was a tune up and a timing adjustment. I was only too glad to take my vehicle out of there and have it towed somewhere else. Lucky I pulled out before I really got taken for a ride. Paid them what they requested and learned a valuable lesson. Never again Rollings... Update: Took my Vehicle to ANOTHER shop and within 2 weeks they had my vehicle running like a Champ . No valve job or rebuild needed my vehicles motor is running strong with no issues. What a difference a great mechanic makes. read more

I was referred to Rollings by another auto service shop. The first shop didn't have the computerized equipment required to service the brakes on my daughter's 2015 Audi Q5. It has been a year and a half and any and all maintenance/service (brakes, oil change and tire repair) our vehicles have needed we have headed directly to Rollings. My wife and I have been going to Rollings for over 15 years. We were recently planning on taking our car back to Rollings for an oil change and to have the brakes checked. My wife asks Mike when we can bring our car down and we live in the High Desert, so it is sometimes perilous. He asks her if we have someone who can pick us up, because for whatever reason he doesn't like customers hanging around. He doesn't say that, but I don't understand why we have to leave the shop. We ended up unable to go to the shop and luckily we found someone nice enough to fix our car. I say fix, because when the font tires came off, it was evident the shop had only done one side of the brakes which messed up the rotors and made all the brake fluid leak out. The calibers weren't tightened properly and half of all the back wheel lug nuts were stripped. This realization that we could have had some really bad things happen if these very serious problems were not addressed. I'm especially upset because my wife is in a wheelchair and I feel he took advantage of us and made us believe that he was a nice honest man, I was so wrong. It's upsetting when you think you're getting a deal, but in reality you are getting taken. read more

NO! Not recommended... A shop that has been in business for DECADES knows not to perform UNAUTHORIZED work. I was referred to this business by a friend who had come here for years. I brought my car in because the "check engine" light was on. I had been there several times before. Each time Mike would give me a call and advise me of what the problem was then provide an estimate. This time that DIDNT happen. After several hours, I received a call that my car was ready for pickup and the bill was $448 dollars. I was astonished that ANY work had been done since I hadn't received a phone call addressing any pricing. I went down to the shop and asked Mike why I hadnt been called. He told me that they had already diagnosed the problem and decided it would be better to just complete the work since they were already working on it. As I looked at the bill I realized why he hadnt called. He had written on the bill that I had received an estimate of $200 which was a blatant lie. I had received NO estimate. I had been charged $52.50 for them to do a computer scan that many places do for free. In addition to the scan, I had been charged for a diagnostic. I later learned I had been billed about triple the price for the party. I expected better from them based on the reviews but had I read one like Im leaving now, I would never have gone there! read more

Used to come here for years. Even b4 Ken was at this spot. When we used to buy new used cars.And before YouTube. We've been blessed to buy new for a bit, just needing regular maintenance. Our regular mechanic is in high demand & my son was in need of a mechanic asap. So we thought we would send him to Ken & Mike . However it's happening again, Really nice guys but it seems they still go around in circles. They say it's one thing & another thing & another thing. Before you know it they rebuild your car. Here's the thing though We knew what was wrong with it, Had them fix it & another thing that could have waited but decided to let them fix it. 235.00 at this point. This was my first time at this shop. I liked the Yelp reviews and it was nearby, so I called and made an appointment for the following morning. I overslept, but threw myself together with 10 minutes left to travel 1.1 mile. My navigator went into a meltdown suddenly when I was about to turn on the st the shop was located on. The male receptionist told me to hang up (I think he meant to say, 'will you please hold'). I was determined to find this place despite all the forces against me. After walking into the first shop I thought was the right place, I was redirected to an adjacent area next door. I saw a sign with an arrow pointing west, so I blew past the lot with the sign and entered the next yard. The mechanics there redirected me back to the first lot. Needless to say, I was pretty angry and frustrated that the receptionist didn't try to help me when I told him I was lost. He also should have clued me in to the shop's confusing location, when I made tbe appointment. I admit, I was pretty rude when I finally arrived and was lucky that my vehicle was serviced immediately. Had I been offered a cup of java, I could have calmed down immediately. The work done to my suspension was good and the labor reasonably priced. I am giving the shop a 4 star only because of the location. read more

After towing my 92 Chevy S10 Blazer to Rollings from an incompetent shop up here in Crestline, (Rim Auto) to Rollings, within a couple of days they pinpointed what the previous shop could not do in 4 months. The problem? The previous shop! I wish I had known about these guys in the first place. They fixed my Nissan Altima too, bringing back my fuel mileage from 13mpg to up to 40 hwy.!!They are supportive and honest.
